Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

Thought Okazaki did well when he came on. Musa and Vardy are too similar. In fact, the entire line-up was too direct.

Leicester were awful today. With all that's been going on at Hull every other side would have hand picked them to start the season against.

Morgan and co. obviously still haven't recovered from getting Zlatan'd.

The first time the reigning PL champions have lost their opening fixture.

Lots of Leicester's players played so bad, worst than everyone can expect by them.
Hull City played a great game with intensity and competitive nastiness, it deserves this 3 points.

Two games aren't enough to judge but King isn't able to do what Kantè did last season on the field. The midfielders don't give the necessary support to the defense in passive transition.

We've been linked with Paredes the young Argentinian from Roma who played for Empoli last season. He's a box to box player, probably better suited to replacing Kante than Mendy. But this is one game, an off day. Huth was easily the bigger miss today. He's a collosus in the air and him and Morgan have a great understanding, that's not there with Hernandez. We'd have defended better and been a bigger threat from set pieces. I think Jockers has it right with there being too many players of the same ilk. That'll work well for us in games where we sit back and hit on the break, in more open games like this we need a bit more diversity. Real shame Okazaki can't shoot for shit, because he'd be incredible if he could.

Paredes is a kind of player as Mendy not Kantè.
He is really able to handle the ball and verticalize and play with at max two touches, but he isn't really good to defense and steal the ball.

Fair play Hull. Shambles behind the scenes but defeated the champions on the opening day.

Leicester 4-0 Hull with all goals scored in the first-half.
:brill:

Leicester just weren't at the races today, no chance they'll be consistently this bad over the season. Hull were constantly exploiting Wes Morgan's lack of pace from corners, Danny Simpson and Drinkwater were off the pace, Gray's dribbling was excellent but the pass/shot was always poor, Vardy had one of those day and Musa looks like a very good signing.

Leicester are the first reigning top-flight champions to lose their opening league game of the next season since Arsenal in 1989/90.

Not too surprised I predicted a 1-1 draw. Hull had nothing to lose all the pressure was on Leicester away from home. Well done Hull.....don't cash out it's your year!!!!

TBH I don't think this will end up a piece of piss.
What up chimp?

I watched the game but was cleaning my flat during the second half. Leicester still lost. Reckon I'll watch quite a few Leicester CL games this season.

Oh ye' Premier League. How wonderful thou art.
Constant drama.

Hull were very good, lots of confidence throughout the team. Leicester looked like they felt the pressure, trying to force things a bit too much. Should've stick Mahrez behind the two strikers in the No. 10 role, nothing was happening. Credit to Musa for trying to make things happen, just Hull defended well. That Diomande looks a handful, Livermore done his team proud.
Think we'll see the return of the tinkerman? At half time you could see that Ulloa & Okazaki looked like a better fit for today.
Disappointed to not see Mendy, anyone know what happened to him?
