Extraction is easier than root canal IMO Leo. I must add the tooth I had extracted had already been root-canaled a couple of years before, and wasn't hard to extract.
Well today was the day lads. Was still nervous as fuck but had built myself up that the bugger was coming out......THEN I was in the dentists chair & she (my dentist) was reading the notes from the one I saw 3 weeks ago. There could be problems she told me & I might have to be referred to a Dental Surgeon....I'm sure I felt all my bravado run down my legs at that point. Anyways she says she possibly could do the extraction today but there was the chance she may not be able to complete it. Up to me!! Fuck it....give it go I said as I didn't want to delay it again. As it turned out, apart from the pressure and hearing bits of tooth break, there was no pain and she was able to get it out but it was quite a complicated extraction so I'm glad I went for it rather than wait to see a dental surgeon. I've to keep off the wine today mind.I'm having a tooth out next week. Had one out before and it's no problem, the Novocaine sees to that.
