If you follow a side with limited expectations.....how do you get worked up for the start of season?

Wellington Phoenix are based in NZ. Oh Chrissy Chrissy, Chrissy Chrissy Chrissy Chrissy Greenacre is on the staff there now.

The Phoenix play in the Australian Football League, so all away games are in Aust, I have seen them twice over there, they do in some seasons come to Christchurch to play a game, I think this coming season they are doing so, I will probably go to that one. As a side note The Phoenix play the the Perth Glory in what is the worlds furtherest domestic game, 3265 miles, now that's an away day. Chris Greenacre was either loved or hated no in between.

There is a possibility I may have to move from Carlisle in a year due to girlfriend and job possibilities, thankfully though just to England but it sort've makes you wonder do you A: Watch Carlisle from distance,

This year Batlika Kaliningrad faced SKA Energiya Khabarovsk in the Football Championship of the National League (Russian second division). The distance between the teams is 9,500 km which is 5930 miles


So 3265 miles is just a local derby then.
