If your club was to liquidate today..

I'm genuinely surprised how many people have said they'd go to other teams in the football league.

But maybe it depends on what place football has in your life. For me personally, my Dads took me to town games since 2001, and since then, that's been OUR time. On away games, i'm always with my best mate, and in a similar way, that's where most of our memories come from. So to me, it isn't just about the football and loyalty, its the fact that the club holds so much of my social life and family memories. No other club could replace that. With how expensive football is, bar the odd new ground or day out, i'd just watch it on television. I mean, why else would you pay the obscene amounts we do, if you didn't utterly love that particular club?

Only way I can see myself supporting another club, is if there was a phoenix club, led by Spireites, with a similar name and in the local area. Like an AFC Wimbledon.

I used to be a professional actor, and without football, i'd probably just concentrate on that more, with my weekends becoming forever free.

I answered it when the question was "who in League One would you support?". The reality is, such a scenario doesn't bear thinking about.

If we're talking as if chesterfield didn't exist and I had to pick a league one club - it'd probably be Rochdale. Northern, humble, ground like saltergate, great pies, good chippy, spends within their means.

Without the Gills, I would watch Truro City a lot more. It was just from league clubs, logically it would have to be Plymouth

Bristol Rugby. Same ground, init.

Though Forest Green Rovers would be a team I'd see more often than I have so far.

I'd probably start going to more Lancs matches don't think I could bring myself to support another footy team it'd just feel weird

Maybe Crystal Palace as they are quite close to me.

Chelsea and Fulham are geographically closest but I ain't supporting either of them! (Fulham at a stretch if I had to!)

Just imagine the scenario, last minute of the playoff semi final,2nd leg. Chesterfield v Swindon....Gary Roberts pops up with a last minute winner and wheels away in delight having secured CFC a place in the final at Wembley v Sheffield United.

I can dream, can't I??
