Bielsa's bucket
somehow we manage to turn professional players into clueless players hiding in their shells

Chris Wood could go to somewhere like Burton Albion (no disrespect) and score 20 goals with ease

put him in a Leeds shirt and he forgets how to play football

same with Sol Bamba (look at Tom Lees for instance) an obvious solid defender that turns to stone in a Leeds shirt, put him in a Sheffield Wednesday shirt and he'd be a colossus no doubt

Tom Lees was prone to numerous nervous mistakes at Leeds, we gave him away and none of us batted an eyelid, apparently Sheffiel Wednesday think he's some kind of godlike defender :(

the list is endless of obvious decent players being absolutely hopeless at Leeds but great elsewhere

Botaka will probably get about 15 assists and 10 goals now at Charlton!

it's gotta be the coaching!

Rant over, cash in on our relegation

We haven't had a successful signing since McCormack.

I didn't go and not read much about his performance so probably not the best nor worst.

Actually just searched on Twitter and he got good reviews. I mean he's still part of a bad defence though. Conceded 7 goals this season already.

Ayling is incredibly passionate, and will always give 110%. Quite a confident player too. Don't know much about Leeds rut but doesn't seem like the kind of player that would allow the negativity around a squad to affect him individually, he just lacks end product really.

Just need players who can stay strong at the moment. We know Bridcutt can handle it so getting him in is essential.

Our full backs are fine but we haven't done anything to address our woeful centre halves so we'll continue to ship goals.

Yeah, as CH said, at least you're still guaranteed six points against us.

Wood was equally shit for us by the way, scored 3 goals in 19, Matt Smith wannabe.

Kept defending him but ultimately flattered to deceive and Monk hasn't played him the last twice (didn't look ready on the first day though to be fair), A lot of our fans don't rate him. Doesn't help that last year he was our only outlet and he doesn't exactly go past a man...but basically our fans wonder what he actually does. Apart from a spell in the last 5 games last year, he doesn't score much or contribute loads. On his day you can appreciate he's a clever player but had more games where it's just passed him by.

I want to keep him but you couldn't say it's been a successful signing so far. A lot of fans wouldn't be bothered if we got rid.

its a shame to hear because he was brilliant for us, and the times I saw you last year he was your best player. Would love him back but till we get our new stadium we can't cover Championship wage demands

Just the way it goes for us...good players don't tend to work for us! Our best players are always the ones we bring through ourselves and then we sell them...

Everything just turns to shit here and it's so tiring to keep trying to be positive.

I really can't understand why Tom Lees failed to impress at Leeds, he's been absolutely unreal for the last two seasons and been part of a back 4 thats broken and equalled the clean sheet record in successive seasons. We'd be looking at 10M for him now if a Premier League club came sniffing.

He shouldn't have been let go but it wasn't like he was amazing. We haven't had a good defence as long as I can remember. L1 was alright when we had Naylor and Kisnorbo playing like rocks. Old school centre halves, them.

Would be marvellous but pretty sure you say this every year. Was only 2 weeks ago that some were tipping you for the play offs. Too much quality for the bottom 3 I think, there's a few shite teams down there this year.

I thought Lees was decent at Leeds. Ultimately fell out of favour with the manager and, like countless others, fell foul of our inability to sort out new contracts for players.

Dallas and Wood will likely go down in the LUFC record books (so far at least) as flops, but both are part of a very limited team in terms of creativity. Wood especially hasn't had any decent service since he pulled on the shirt. I'm hoping the introduction of Hernandez aids a bit of creation going forward.

I don't think we'll go down but we seriously, seriously need to sort out our defence - it's dreadful. Bamba is past it and we haven't really had a decent centre back pairing for ages. Conceding and limited creativity up front makes for a long old season. I predict a 14/15th finish.

We should be able to pick up some results but it's concerning to be pulled apart by decent but by no means great sides.

Once we get a couple of wins then we can hopefully put a run together. We shouldn't go down with some of the players are our disposal but it's an absolute disgrace that every season is a rescue job to try and stay up.

I thought Leeds would have a good go for the play offs, they still might do.

You don't get to the play offs with a woeful defence. We had one of, if not the best attacks in the league in 10/11 and still finished 7th.

i suppose we all keep waiting for Leeds to come good again as it's such a big club, but it never seems to happen. Being run by that clown and appointing poor managers don't help, although monk seems decent. What is the general feeling about monk?

Already under pressure I'd say. Got irate after Saturday's game so I think he's feeling it. Seems a bit panicky - doesn't know his XI and players starting the first game now seem to be not in his plans etc. Just feels edgy right now but a couple of wins I'm sure would help in that regard.

Someone has to be given a chance here but they won't be. He'll be gone and Evans will return by October probably.

Why stop there though? For the full experience you need to be doing a Luton, imagine Elland road as a conference ground. I am giddy at the prospect.

Monk needs time but it don't look like he has time on his hands. Leeds used to be a top job but tbf it's been turned into a bit of a joke, someone will get it right then they will be a hero for life at Leeds.
