Looks like you got 8/24 predictions correct. Decent effort I’d say.

Failing in the POs isn’t success - it’s progression. Just ask Notts County how making the POs last season worked out for them this.
How did it work out for Lincoln ?

When you have spent three seasons in non league football it is success, trust me.

Notts County and Lincoln. The 2 extremes from last season’s POs.

Traditional clubs coming back from a non league sojourn tend to do well.

I think their average final placing is thirteenth. In the last decade only Bristol Rovers have done better than us (on current placings) as far as I am aware.

I really meant over a period of time. Oxford, Rovers, Luton, now Lincoln have come back much stronger.

Exactly, so this season is not necessarily a one-off for us.

I think it’s a case of being at such a low
level for the clubs stature you can just muscle your way through, which allows you to spend more time focusing on improving the club as a whole.

The smaller league clubs that have done down have generally struggled. Stockport, Chester, Wrexham, Dagenham, Hartlepool etc etc

Hard to say where Notts county would fit in amongst that as they don’t own their infrastructure.

It was pretty much a back of a fag packet job tbh.

I’ll probably concoct some more bollocks for next season.
