I've just seen that there's less than 2k members on this forum which seems incredibly low for a general football forum.

This section has been quiet for ages, probably going back to when the Plimuff massive used to reside here.

Going back to League 1 last season, there used to be around 15 regular City fans posting, it was great fun with the PNE and Franchise lads.

This section however is like a graveyard at times.

Umm. Last time Plymouth were in the Championship was in 2010. Four years before the forum started.

I seem to remember TFF had like 37000 members but 90% of them were completely inactive. I reckon most of the members on here are still fairly active.

Must admit that I haven't posted much this year, probably because there is not much I can say about our season to date.

We have gone from having everybody hating us because of Steve Evans, to having no real identity at all.
I felt good to be hated.

We have become dull non-entities again, nobody not even our own fans care enough to bother posting anything.

There was a good following at Huddersfield last night but the atmosphere was poor with hardly anyone was singing, and once Town scored everybody knew it was game over.
We just don't fight back like we did under Evo, we all know we wont score, so consequently the fans just sit there waiting for the final whistle so we can go home.
I think it's called apathy.

I do think the promoted teams have helped improve this part of the O.F.F. and I still read it regularly but even so, the League 1 forum was much livelier than this one
On the bright side it shouldn't be too long before I can look in again.

I don't think that the General Chat area is, IMO.
I agree, I think it's worse on here. It might just be because there are fewer posters so it's more noticeable.

But even that 10%* is still twice as many members as there are on here. I expect over time the membership on here will increase, but it's a slow process.

*I know this isn't an exact number, but it is illustrative of the situation.

Fancied a rare visit to see if anyone had mentioned the Steve Evans (God) and Neil Redfearn (Useless c***) feud and came across this the most depressing thread ever.

Admit it people, it's shite without me.

P.S I Said Bristol were shit.
Bristol are doing fine, top of their league. Not that it matters, they always fail in the ridiculous playoff system. Pretty irrelevant to bring them up on a football forum though

Being contentious doesn't really work for you. You are too much of an incessant try-hard to be taken seriously.

You also said Rotherham wouldn't go down, I'm yet to see anything to tell me otherwise.

Never understood why the Championship section is so quiet on here, second best division with a lot of well supported clubs.

I think that the problem is that Championship level clubs tend to have a big enough fanbase to warrant having their own active forums dedicated for their club and so the enticement of a larger multi club forum isn't as appealing as it to lower league supporters. Then go up a level and there are so many United/Liverpool/Arsenal fans on the internet that they have to end up somewhere, trying to become the centre of attention.

Think you are spot on although i personally don't post on our club forum.

After thought; only thing you've seen from Rotherham is back end of a 3-0 loss
Also seen you on the box as well.

You battered us, I wasn't there, but did listen to the first half. We're not great at the best of times, but when we're having an off day we look completely out of place in this league.

I definitely think that's the reason. And clique is a funny word really imo. People who interact with each other a lot are obviously going to continue doing so and be dominant in a section they're active in.

I would always say cliques are where people feel they aren't really welcome to be included. I felt that existed far more on TFF than on here.

As for this section I don't know really. It probably was strong as the forum started understandably but TFF's section was by no means buzzing towards the end. And personally I have little interest in talking about my club at the moment because it's very much same shit, different day/week/month.

I always thought the championship section was extremely quiet on TFF too, which I found strange as you would think there's more fans out there at this level than the ones below. Rotherham and Bristol City aren't as good as they were at recent times in certain seasons, that won't help bring them out.

For some reason, the likes of QPR, Reading and Forest etc just don't seem to have many fans about that post.

The site will slowly grow over time like any forum naturally, hopefully we pick a few new faces up from a few clubs.

I think there is only myself and Justin QPR who post on here, and he comes and goes. I posted a lot on TFF, but then my worked blocked the internet so I stopped. Then it changed from TFF to OFF and it confused the hell out of me - which isnt hard.

My brother used to post a lot, but hes stopped going to QPR. I am posting more now, as I am back to going to the games. Before, I didnt go so I didnt know enough about what is going on. I still dont know a lot, but I feel like I can at least try.

Seems a lot quieter on here that the league one forum. Had a lot of fun last season, banter with Swindon ect. This season we are so shit can't even be bothered to talk about football. Not even looking forward to Saturdays atm.

I would say I mainly browse but there's not a lot to look at really. Very quiet.

The Bristol City/ Swindon banter last season was mind numbing to be fair.

You lot should be glad we won that final.

We are still about , and improving with each game, I will laugh my self silly if we gain promotion and replace you lot, haha, no seriously, at the moment wouldn't want be up here in a forum that is like a mortuary, don't think I would want championship football to be honest, we would be worse than the city robins , and at the moment that takes some doing !
