Quick turnaround and back out into the middle of nowhere for another very tough game.

Surprisingly Ipswich are top scorers in the league, and we're 3rd(?) I believe, though I can't see many goals in this one, we've kept three clean sheets in a row and four in the last six.

Fielding
Wright Flint Baker Bryan
O'Dowda Brownhill Smith Paterson
Reid Diedhiou
I hope Pisano is back but he's probably got to earn the shirt back given how good Wright has been at right back. Regardless, I wouldn't drop Wright anyway, Flint would be the one that would go out of the side as harsh as that is as he's been brilliant.

More than capable of getting a result here but I think it'll be a narrow loss. Still an excellent month regardless.

Ipswich 1-0 City (McGoldrick 90+2)

728 City.

Will be interesting to see if there's any rotation, I agree about Brownhill coming in. Agree I don't think we'll see any changes in defence but maybe the wingers, I know O'Dowda is good defensively but in terms of keeping them fresh.

O'Dowda was decent yesterday and I'm certainly not his biggest fan.

Pack's suspended also.

Quiet first 30 minutes but then got going, seemed like we were trying to get Pato against Little as much as possible. Of course Pack's suspended, heard it on the radio last night :ffs:

I noticed that Jordan Spence played CB last night. Strange one? Always thought he was a decent full back/winger for us on loan a few years ago.

Agree with Brownhill coming back in for Pack. We might see Leko come in after not featuring last night to freshen things up! Leave everything else the same I think.

We have one fit CB! It's better than a few weeks ago when all CBs were injured

Play like we did against Leeds and Sunderland and I'd like to think we will take 3 points.

Unless enforced I'd like to see us unchanged from last night as I imagine we'll need a couple to win here as City will likely cause our makeshift defence a few problems.

2-1

We never pick up points at Ipswich so I would be happy with a point.

Bookies have us down as favourites.

Another shithouse 0-1 and this month couldn't have gone any better.

I wish we knew how to shithouse. Maybe we can spend another 30 mil on a couple of defenders who are capable of doing it.

Cracking odds on an Ipswich win. Don't get me wrong,we are in good form and playing some good stuff but definitely some value there.

Likewise but it won't be the end of the world, Burton at home after the international break.

It feels like things are coming together with players coming back from injury and good performances in the last two games. Mick seems closer to knowing who his first team is and hopefully it'll be the same as Tuesday night today.

Bristol City are in good form too so it should be a good game and I think it might end up a draw. 1-1

We were as bad today as we were good Tuesday. Adeyami was a huge miss!

Disappointing performance, disappointing to lose to two deflected shots but City deserved it. Really shows what investment does.

Some of you guys could give Rammy a run for their money regarding your pessimism

Wasn’t that long ago we looked like we wouldn’t be playing the likes of yourself and Ipswich this season!

Well we were in this exact position last season after 11 games (20 points, 5th place) and then we lost 13 of the next 16 games.

Granted we do look a lot better this time round, but that's where the pessimism stems from

0-1 is worse results even it were close to 0-0 or 1-1.
