Don’t want to sound weird but if losing this and the next home game against Millwall means Johnson getting the sack then I’d be all for it, absolutely sick of it at this point and so are about 80% of the fan base.

Maenpaa
Hunt Webster Kelly Da Silva
Walsh Pack O’Dowda
Adelukan Eisa Eliasson

Change the fucking system, 4-4-2 is dire and doesn’t work without Korey Smith. Drop Weimann. Drop Kalas. Try something different.

Ipswich 2-1 Bristol C (Sears 28’, Bishop 88’) (Eisa 66’)

On a serious note, your prediction is a reasonable one right down to the attendance.

Really need to win this one

2 wins at home in 2018, but promising signs under Lambert in his first three.

Not so concerned about our inability to score anymore, but think this one is difficult to predict.

Bad feeling here, fancy Ipswich to get their first home win of the season. We’ll be going in devoid of confidence and Ipswich will have been eyeing this one up as a game they can win. If we do lose that’s 5 defeats in a row and I think Johnson will probably go on to equal or “better” the club record 8 he managed in 2017. Hopefully not.

I can't see anything other than a home win as our head coach will do something daft,as usual.
If yet another defeat means he's finally gone, I'll take it on the chin but have to predict a home win anyway.

A comfortable 2-0 home win and my utmost respect to any Cidered that travels all that way to support our shower of crap to yet another inept defeat.
Don't get carried away when you win tractor boys, we really are very, very poor at the moment.

JOHNSON OUT.

Dont think there is much wrong with our back 5. The only changeable position in my mind is Kelly against good teams and Da Silva against the shit ones.

The problem is the other 6 ahead of the defence which is a disaster at the moment. Johnson is failing to understand the basics of team set up, i.e dont play wingers if there is no one in the box who can head it.

Pack and Brownhill should have been dropped a month ago if we had any back up so we might have a chance now Brownhill has dropped himself.

Our best striker and most likely to score no matter what people think is Diedhiou, he must play. Perhaps with 2 quicker ones either side.

Weimann I have lost faith in, passing back to left back when through v Leeds sums the bloke right up.

Don’t want to sound weird but if Bristol City winning this one and the Millwall game means Johnson clinging on for a few more months I’m all for it.

Pissed at 10-40 GG? ;) We couldn't beat an egg at the mo.
It's a tough one because I never want City to lose but LJ has to go and the sooner the better in my opinion.

That was fucking awful :lol::lol::lol:
I dont think Im a tactical genius but as I said, a strikeforce of Weimann and Paterson is a non entity, no surprise Diedhiou changed the game

Absolutely disgusting of a performance.
Players just aren’t good enough. So pleased for Sears though.

When will the Town fans turn on Evans, he’s killing the club... regardless of what happens, 10 years of mistake after mistake leading to relegation which will no doubt happen

What a tragic win that was.

We looked so poor, don’t really feel any better than before tonight’s game.

Oh, thought you were staying up. Id still blame the fans if I was you.
City fans trying to go the same way, not happy with being a midtable team.

I couldn’t care less what you lot think. The club was toxic under McCarthy, results were dropping too. Forget him.

I do not believe you can blame the fans, they’ve stuck with the squad even till tonight when we were 3-2 down. Evans is at fault and that is that.

First half was as bad as it gets.

Second half? I thought we did OK. Some promising displays from Fammy, Kelly and Patetson but then Ipswich were awful.

Delighted with the win but it was the very definition of papering over the cracks. We aren't a good team and we have a long hard winter ahead.

What an absolute shocker that was (watched it on the red button although I did think about turning over to the Villa v Forest game at one point).
I'm sorry Tractor boys but you are really bad. We're shit yet you are actually worse and I didn't think that was possible in the Championship.
Am I happy we won? I'm really not sure, for which I feel really guilty, as we're gonna be stuck with the ego as head coach for longer now which can't be good.
We were bloody awful, yet again.
Renew in Jan / Feb? After 44 seasons, fook that with this loser in charge. I can hardly be arsed now and I've already paid.
I have no doubt Ipswich are heading down but hopefully they can regroup in L1 and come back stronger as they're a fine club.

I don’t, I hope they have a torrid time at (potentially) Rovers away on a Tuesday night and think back to the halcyon days under when they were pushing top six in this league on a shoestring budget....

:hypo:

Dare I ask why JJH?
Most have no axe to grind with Ipswich at all so was wondering.
Just because of how their fans hounded McCarthy out mate, don’t want to discuss it with Ipswich fans on here again as it’s been done to death and I believe they’re too stubborn to admit they were wrong so claim that Hurst was the issue, not the McCarthy sacking but I don’t buy it.

Was tongue in cheek really, I hope they go down but beyond that I don’t really mind. I imagine they’ll bounce back at the first time of asking if they do go down anyway, their squad is full of quality L1 players that I doubt will be poached.
