Wouldn't say Preston looked like scoring at all in the second half! Then again we weren't exactly bombarding your goal either.

Point was fair result and a good one considering we went behind, your defensive record and your current form!

Frustrating not to win it at the end and also the gamesmanship from Preston towards the end. Didn't like the fact your lot used elbows at every header either.

Did look like your defender was knocked out for a bit from the keepers punch, so not sure why the town fans were complaining about that, if he's knocked out the games should be stopped.

We move on, and play offs were always the target. Top 2 would have been a bonus but play offs are definitely the target

You did the same on Tuesday to be fair. Not a criticism, it's part of the modern game nowadays. You were taking your time over everything even at 1-1.

Goal was offside. Pretty sure it was for the one who played him through. Town players had stopped by the time he took his shot.
In the first half there was a clearly offside situation where your left winger was allowed to carry on nearly leading to a goal.

George the Ipswich fan on twitter seems to be a little bit upset.

Really strange post? If anything you lot were the ones complaining about the ref, to which we proved the opposite. Please explain where we were "whiny bitches"...

Town fans have been praising you lot on the Town forum.

I had a little laugh on your forum though, one bloke said that because the ref got the offside goal decision right (when it was very close) and didn't give us the penalty, the decisions evened themselves out :brill:

Only seen a few people mentioning the penalty shout on Twitter which is a fair one to be honest! Can see why he didn't give it but seen your fans on your forum saying they would be shouting for it if it was the other way round.

Have you seen McCarthys comment on Garner? :bg: Fair comment IMO!

Forgot to say as well that for 436 fans yesterday you made a lot of racket! Then again we were so quiet I even heard the ref counting his steps before a freekick from the Bobby Robson upper

Offside it is then!

He's said something along the lines of, if you want to move Garner, you can't do it with a bulldozer but if he wants to fall over, he looks like he's been hit with a baseball bat!

Looking at the highlights, Doyle is just about offside but it's close. Great piece of play, regardless.

Ipswich's penalty shout would have also been harsh, Huntington was on the deck half a second before the ball was blasted at him, very little he could do in terms of moving his arms out of the way.

Just noticed that Daniel Johnson has played exactly 46 league games for us now and bagged 15 goals, great return.

Quickly became a fan favourite. Still can't believe we only paid 50k. Absolute daylight robbery.

I think Doyle is improving. Had a decent game last Tuesday and seems to be linking well with other players. Just need him to start scoring.

People just seem to slag him off for the sake of slagging him off at games. Like they did with beckford when he was first here.

I'm yet to see anything in him, although i've only got to two away games this season so he might have put in some good performances on the road.

I'm going to continue labelling him an anonymous shit heap until he does something to impress me.
