Hope we don't lose both Fulham and Charlton..

With it looking like Newcastle, Sunderland, Aston Villa, Burton and Wigan are going to be in this league, we need more local games..

Although I suppose Villa and Burton aren't too far, and would be decent trips. But Fulham are the only club locally that give large capacity.

Some proper bellends work on the train mate, just be careful as they'll use it as football violence and seek a banning order.

Wow. Wasn't expecting that! Not many people hate Brentford, guess you've got your reasons but guessing they aren't footballing ones...

It's nothing personal MB, myself and a mate were attacked leaving Griffin park in 1997 after the play off 2nd leg and I ended up in hospital with a fractured jaw and eye socket, broken ribs, a perforated ear drum and a punctured lung. The repercussions of the attack were very bad for myself and a really close mate, very, very bad. That's why I absolutely despise Brentford FC, not you or the other Bees posters on here.
Quite a valid reason IMHO.

We'll give 3k next season, suppose you'd sell it if you were doing alright.

Early doors or if we're top half for a Saturday kickoff and we'd sell that next season. For some reason we tend to take more to Bristol than a majority of London games despite being further away.

Revell still fucking wank btw?

Told you he's no saviour, I despise him as much as Redfearn.

Agree that he was overrated by most of our fans and wasn't good enough for championship and probably league 1 aswel but i wouldn't go as far has despising the bloke, i thought he gave it 110% every match and would run through a brick wall for team and played a vital role at wembley getting both goals to get promoted so i respect him for that part, seems a decent guy but just wasn't technically good enough.

Why anyone would despise the guy who scored two goals at Wembley to allow us to go on and get promoted, and a guy who always gave 110% for the team, despite lacking in the skills department is beyond me. He didn't score many goals, but did get some vital ones when it mattered, and made plenty for others by winning headers and holding up the ball while play caught up with him. I know Millers fans love a scapegoat but that's ridiculous. Unless your wife told you he has a bigger dick then you, in which case I fully understand.

Ah a Revell lover!!

I saw right through him, knew how wank he was but did everything he could to get fans on side to elevate him to 'fans favourite' status, so he didn't drop back to non league (which he ultimately will).

Chasing hopeless causes, feigning injury/breathlessness, making sure he was the last person off the pitch to milk the applause and clapping the fans at every opportunity if not needed.

The first opportunity he got he was off, despite appearing to be Mr Rotherham United as soon as Cardiffs £££ came on offer he was off because believe it or not Revell didn't give a fuck about Rotherham United and was shit to boot.

An open net against Leeds and one at Wembley before the shin roller won't change my opinion on Revell, yeah he ran about but fuck me I would, doesn't mean I'd be worth having up top!! A waste of time and without him we'd have won league two and got automatics in league one but some fans had and still have a permanent hard on for him.

It's gonna be interesting to see how the Millers come out of the international break as I'm sure they don't want it?
All I know is we will be a decent test on the Tuesday after the first game, we're playing some great stuff now.
Bring it on is all I say (still think we'll both stay up).

Sernwa, I see you keep the intelligent posts for the match day forum, cos that last one is one of the biggest piles of shite I've ever read. Love how you decided I'm a Revell lover cos I don't despise him. I would never despise anyone for merely being a not very good footballer, cos I'm not that fucked up, Lol. You're weird.

Cider up, hopefully the break will give our players time to recharge their batteries a bit. They must be feeling it after the efforts of recent weeks.

I was getting at your momentum rather than tiredness beaufighter but I take your point. Same for everyone I suppose.
Should be a good game at our place, pity it's a midweek game as I would imagine that will affect your numbers.

I should imagine it will greatly affect our turn out and that's a great shame because we usually make a weekend of it as we both love Bristol.
But long distance midweek games are a no no when you work till 5pm.

I too worry the lay off will have an adverse effect on our momentum and would take a point now.

First things first though, before then we have the return of a certain Mr Steve Evans.
And while I will always be grateful for what he achieved with us, I would really enjoy getting one over him and a double over Leeds to boot.

Nook Terrier, your lot had me really worried on Saturday that Evans would get the sack before we had the chance to get stuck into him.

Sooooo, big wins for the Millers and Fulham, Charlton get a win as well while ourselves and Bolton lose.
I think we can assume Bolton have gone but do Charlton have a realistic chance? Does the MK loss to Fulham condemn them? Are the likes of the Millers and us safe yet?
Still a lot to be decided IMHO.

Amazing result for us - feel a lot happier about our chances, totally unexpected result away from home

If we show the same fight in our remaining games as we did today then yes.

Unfortunately, I don't think we will. We're not consistent enough nor good enough really, even today our lack of killer instinct nearly saw us only draw the game.

Play like we did today from now until the end of the season then we have a punchers chance. We'll see.

Bolton, Charlton and us are now relegated. Neither of us have a chance or hope of staying up.

Bye bye championship. :bye:

Not so sure. You may be trying to lull us into a false sense of security.
We ain't safe yet. I stand by 48 points for safety.
