Classic, classic Farnborough. Gone are the days when they gave it the big one to us in the Conference South. This was always going to happen.

Will they EVER learn down there?! Goodbye again Farnborough... I'm sure you will be back with another phoenix club & I'm just as sure we'll be seeing that go down the swanny in about 4 years time tops.

K's have added another signing to our 2015/16 Isthmian League winning squad: striker Ricky Sappleton, who was with Billericay last season. I guess this means we won't be resigning Andre McCollin.

Who's Spencer going to blame this time? A referee is odds on favourite, with a loanee goalkeeper shortening the odds rapidly.

Ricky Sappleton is a sensible signing by Tommy Williams, Jolls and Deano (proper Deano, not Travellodge) aren't going to hold the ball up and allow the team to counter-attack after all whereas that's Sappleton's strength. I still think K's could do with a pacey striker as Jolls' legs are shot, it's redundant having a big lad/target man like Sappleton unless he can flick the ball on for his oncoming strike partner who can sprint past the back line.

Forbes has joined Hemel Hempstead Town, while Vidal is now at Welling.

Forbes started the season really well, needed him, and he really seemed to bring out the best in Pinnock too. Lost his place towards the end of the season though.

Vidal is gonna be a loss, came through Rose's Aspire and he's certainly the best of the attacking midfielders-cum-wingers we have, and is jumping up two leagues. Best of luck to him.

Forbes was a massive help for young Ethan Pinnock at the start of last season, but having lost his place to Matt Drage, it seems a sensible move for Forbes as I think Pinnock and Drage are a very strong pairing. Xavier Vidal will be big loss for Dulwich and we now even more desperately need a 20+ goal front man with Xav gone. I'll miss his 30 yard screamers and his considerable goal contribution - 12 last season I think. Not a massive surprise he's moved up a couple of leagues as he's been watched by a host of league clubs. Perhaps Jack Dixon will play a more advanced role next season for us like he used to for Bognor.

Luke Wanadio has also gone - to Staines - and Kershaney Samuels has moved to Merstham. Wanadio was great on his day but I think we have better wingers in Nyren Clunis and Albert Jarrett as well as Dean Lodge of course. I'd be very surprised if there's a better winger and more consistent performer that Clunis in this league.

We've signed Mitchell Nelson, a right back, from Margate. I've no idea what he's like and think he was out injured most of last season.

I'm amazed Deano (according to Aber, not the real Deano) has stayed at a club for more then one season! Is he still cutting the mustard for you?

Dean was injured for much of last season, but he's a good winger and a valuable squad member. I'm not sure how many starts he'll get with Clunis and Jarrett; we'll have to wait and see! We're fortunate to be blessed with very good wide players.

I agree that Nyren's an excellent player. I hope we keep him for many more years. If he could improve his delivery into the box he'd be even better!

Really hope Farnborough don't go under.

I'm assuming that would mean the club with the coldest, most windswept ground in the south getting a late reprieve.

Oh deep joy, thought I'd seen the last of that poxy place.

I'm hoping they do go under & we run with a 23 team league. One more team can go pop before the season starts & then we are back down to a sensible 22 team division.

So, we've managed to keep hold of George Purcell who bagged 27 goals for us in last season's Ryman Prem season. We've also just added Dave Knight who scored 31 last season for Wingate & Finchley. So, 2 of the top 3 scorers from last season's Ryman Premier will be lining up for us in the Ryman North.

Well I never !

Sam Mott (keeper) has also signed, but Frankie Curley has decided to try his luck at Billericay as has Chris Bourne.

It's strange how you could get relegated with a 27 goal striker (unless that was your only source of goals)... the year we went down from this league I think our top scorer was on a grand total of 7 or 8 goals

It was a strange season for sure ... top strikers alongside one of the best three defences in the division until the last 10 or so games... when we managed to lose 6-pointer after 6-pointer. Thing is we had no midfield. Literally (and I use the word advisedly).

Still - great signings for us - we may even get back up (though we will naturally remain suitably pessimistic for now) and should set an example of intent to get our other better players to re-sign. Also hopefully we can get a few more fans in. Unfortunately we will have to compete additionally with the cheap tickets and newly available seating at West Ham so it's going to be a tough one.

Fancy the Urchins to bounce back at the first opportunity. We've also helped you out by poaching somebody from a league rival, but there is nothing official on that front, yet...

Dulwich are putting a good side together. I've got fond memories of Charlie Penny (scoring the goal that wins a title will do that) and he should work well with targetman Jacob Erskine. Danny Waldren is the marquee signing though, he was superb when we played Bromley down at their place last season. Him and Reece Prestidge suffocated us in the 2nd half, breaking up the play and starting quick counter attacks.

With the loss of Vidal am glad we've seemed to bring in three, maybe four, theoretical starters. Carew signed on for next season which is great news too.

I've got to say Tonbridge are doing a good job picking up rejects from other Ryman clubs - Tom Phipp, Sonny Miles and Luke Blewden are all astute signings. Fancy them to make a playoff charge next season.

For the love of God no. Just no.

The signing of Sonny Miles is an interesting one for them considering the amount of stick both he and his family received upon moving to/throughout his time here at the Gallagher.

I don't see what the problem is in re-signing Sonny. He was brought up through the youth system at Longmead and when the opportunity came along to play for a 'bigger' club he took it. Most of the 'stick' he got was given back in bucket loads (especially on his turn to Longmead with Maidstone) and he's no shrinking violet when it comes to voicing his opinion. I always thought that when you lot gained that elusive promotion that Sonny would be surplus to requirements at The Gallagher (and that own-goal was a cracker!) and so, he's back at a club where he will get the full support of all Angels fans despite their feelings on him leaving to join you last season. I'm not a Tonbridge local (having moved to the area back in 1990) so don't know the history of the two clubs in terms of rivalry etc etc but as far as I'm concerned, Sonny is now an Angel again and will get my full support all the time he wears the blue shirt.

Tom Phipp came as a surprise. Didn't expect him to even give us the time of day. But it just proves that Steve McKimm is determined that this season is going to be a lot better than the previous one (which won't be hard considering where the Angels finished in the league).

Luke Blewden, just like Sonny, was another product of the youth system at Longmead and I'm more than happy to see him return.

McKimm is putting together a half-decent squad which should be strong enough to be in the top half of the table. A play-off place would be nice, but anything has to be an improvement on last season.

Dan Bennett signed for Kingstonian. Extremely talented player. Just surprised he's not made it into League football.

How is McKimm viewed at Angels? I think we really missed him in the changing room and training ground at GGL last season

We've done a lot of our player shopping already, which is reassuring. Gona be an interesting season!

I think Bennett is a great signing for you. I understand he can be a 'handful' but he plays great football.

That's good to know. In fact, I've seen favourable reports of most of the players we've added to our books so that's really encouraging. Hopeful of a better season this time out.

DarkSith, myself and my son were at the game last night. It was absolutely tragic. The physios from both teams were giving the poor lad mouth to mouth and resuscitation on the pitch. Everyone left the ground in complete silence. Utter utter disbelief that such a thing could happen on a football pitch. RiP Junior.
