Glad you like it mate, It's an absolute classic for sure. I got the vinyl from Brixton market a while back and totally by chance, since then I think it's definitely become one of my all time favourites.

I can't remember whether or not I've already posted this. It's from an album called Time Running Out by Kendell Smith which encapsulates everything that was wrong with 80s here and internationally. I couldn't find any of the songs on YT so I tracked him down and asked his permission to put them on (I've posted all 8 of them). He told me he was about to release a second album, but due to a dispute with Mad Professor it sadly never got released. I've been listening to reggae since I was a kid and this little known artist's album is easily in my top 10.

Never heard anything by Kendell Smith before but I listened to the tunes from your post and the others on youtube and it is some soulful music, really captures the problems of that time, infact I'm finding a lot of the stuff i'm liking at the moment is from around that period in the 80's; maybe with all the bollocks going on at the moment it's as relatable now as it was then? Really enjoying sifting through past posts in this thread though mate, Big Youth is an absolutely great post too. Do you ever listen to any Prince Far I?
