One of mine is the League Cup and the Wembley final is described as a "major " cup competition , and a "major" Wembley final, when in fact it is clearly the minor one .....

When clubs have ready made pictures (or worse, gifs) to tweet when a goal is scored.

The JPT not having an automatic Champions League spot for the winner.

People who leave games early or worse, at half time.

Cough *Southend day-trippers* cough.

My cousin once left a Charlton game when it was 3-0 at half-time to Cardiff. Low and behold, 4-3 Charlton at full time!

Oh and half and half scarves.

I could make a list as long as my arm on these sort of things - but I'll go for a more recent one that's came about lately.

I don't know the exact name for them, but those irritating clapping this that Leicester and another club (Norwich?) have started using this season.

I'm sorry - but if Bristol City ever started giving those shite things out I'd boycott the games. They're such an unneeded item, I mean they make a horrible noise, and they hardly create an atmosphere.

What's was ever wrong with clapping your fucking hands? Is society really that lazy ffs?

Well, Chelsea and Tottenham seemed to treat it like a major final by playing their strongest teams.

Half and half scarfs are an absolute abomination and anybody wearing one should be taken outside and shot ( or at least given a stern talking to )

Not guilty - well not this season anyway, thank god. They gave them out in a couple of games last season (Sunderland & West Brom IIRC) and possibly 1 or 2 games prior to that. So not that common a thing to get wound up by really - still 3 or 4 games too many, mind.

I suppose it's only fair that those who buy half and half scarves are rehabilitated back into society, but there needs to be punishment for it.

I mean the way the press and managers reference to it as a major wembley final, no one ever says that about the FA cup.... same argument for European cup / Europe league.... but goal music! How long have you got?

The light show comment is an interesting one.

A year ago I would have turned my nose up at the suggestion of Gasheads doing it at home matches, but it happened spontaneously in a game over Christmas and it was fantastic. It was a spur of the moment thing (4-0 up at home against a promotion-chasing side which proved to even the biggest doubters that we were genuine promotion contenders, good atmosphere given the time of year, etc...) and it just worked. Metaphorically it felt like the light emerging from the darkness of our relegation - that may sound a little too poetic for some, but it was a great spectacle!

We then did the same thing again after a late equaliser against Torquay on NYD and this video shows how it looked from the away end:

Some that have already been pointed out, goal music, half 'n half scarves, the football alcohol rules when egg chasers can do what they want BUT , most of all, the number of foul throws that are done and the officials just ignore them. Either remove the rule or play the rule !!!

I left about 40% of our games early this. Don't think we even scored let alone turned a game around after I'd gone.

Fleetwood's goal celebration music and accompanying dancing cod on the screen.

Yes! This! I can't think of anything more abominable than a terrible mascot doing the Saturday Night Fever dance to the Captain Pugwash tune. That can just fuck right off!
