Your 1 point off a play off spot ...that's not faint .....at least Mr HG might accept your not going down now
It's faint given our form since January, we've threatened to get back into the top 7 on a number of occasions and keep coming up short, even if we manage to climb back onto the tightrope, I can't see us keeping our balance for a whole month. Unless Pedro turns out to be Messi in disguise.

Shite game, to be fair...

We were shite, Hartlepool were worse. I can't remember either team creating anything of note in the second half?

Paynter.

I reckon we need 13pts for the play-offs, can't see it happening.

Tonight showed how much we miss Nathan Thomas and what a key player he is for us. There's not much threat when he's not playing.

From the radio it sounded like a draw may have been a fairer result but not to be. Neither side created much. Definitely a priority for Hignett to get a couple of creative players in over the summer, a striker and a hard bastard midfielder.

Congratulations Carlisle on your derby victory. :bdick:

Almost forgot. Jabo Ibehre and one of the Hartlepool players had a collision second half, the Hartlepool player landed on top of Jabo then just before he got up he slammed his fist down in to Jabo's face while Jabo was still on the floor.

It's over and done with now but boy was he lucky to get away with it!

It slipped my mind until just now. It was such a dire football match so not many memorable moments.

It is serious for us. You may have nothing to play for now, but we still have faint playoff hopes. So of course we're taking things seriously.

Sounds like a Carl Magnay special that, it would be about the fourth time this season he's twatted someone while they've been tangled up on the floor.

He slipped, someone had watered the pitch I heard.
