Know a couple of you have had him at your clubs whats your opinion on him? reports of bullying and more worryingly racism being banded about from someone over the weekend if its found to be true he should be sacked.

His time here was a farce. We’d just sacked the popular if completely barmy Ricardo Moniz under the pretences of bringing an experienced League Two manager to get out play-off push back on track, and then ended up with a guy recently sacked as Forest’s youth coach. Fans were after him from day one and no surprise he only lasted a few weeks.

Fortunately reports of Burchnall being Fullarton Mkii were greatly exaggerated. I did actually feel a bit sorry for him though. He didn’t actually get off to a terrible start, think we won a couple, including Luton away, but the fans were dead set against him, partly because most people hated Ray Trew by this point, and there was a horrible moment when he tried to control a bouncing ball that went out of play by the dugout v Bristol Rovers (I think), at home - but ended up standing on it and going arse over tit, in his suit, into the mud, to huge cheers from the home fans. He was never going to recover from that, and was sacked soon after.

Fullartons unhappy few weeks were the most toxic I've ever seen Meadow Lane. When he fell over the ball it was like a bear pit, absolute contempt and hatred of the poor sod. Ray Trew had lost the plot hiring him, utterly wrong headed, pointless appointment.

Load of bollocks! He's not a racist. His dour personality makes it hard for people to warm to him, and is possibly the real issue that the other "issues" stem from. We didn't lose many games when he was here, but we didn't win too many either, but he got us playing to a plan. He actually invested his own money on training facilities that we lacked when he arrived and moved us off the part time model. Never a favourite with the fans though, but then again neither was Wild until about October this season.

Reading that thread, it sounds like we will have another member of the brotherhood soon, fantastic!

You Walsall lads will love it down here, honest. It’s great.

Completely the wrong man at the wrong time for us. As explained above. He should never have been put in that position.

He did seem like a massive arse though. Tends to be the mantra that follows him round. Bullying etc.

Its got all the hallmarks of a club in free fall hasnt it?

Scunthorpe amd Oldham look to have it stitched up already this season, although when oh when will Stevenage get relegated back to their proper place? A Stevenage fan called us a 'hobby club' on twitter the other day.

The most boring football I have ever seen us play. Set us up for a 0-0 every game and thought we should be happy with it.

Best thing he did was leave brought us onto the Wild era.

Scunthorpe will become the most tinpot brother we've ever had.

I realised the other day I dont know anything about Scunthorpe. I think I get them mixed up with Scarborough and assume they went bust years ago.

They've been languishing in the 4th tier for 300 years now except for that one season where they were inexplicably in the Championship as an anomaly. Their average attendance in League Two (2682) is also lower than Stevenage, Barrow and Sutton.

Swear they only ever play night games too, don't think I've ever seen a highlight from a Scunthorpe game that took place in daylight.

Scunthorpe’s Brotherhood entry for next season has been denied for reason of that they only get very similar gates to FC Halifax Town.
However should Bottega Don or 4Sertori like to bring me a nice big brown envelope full of cash I may be open to reconsider my verdict.

It's the curse of The ex-Shaymen. Chesterfield signed Dan Gardner and Jordan Sinnott from us shortly before joining us in the National League. You got Jack Earing. Just saying. Some of our older fans still talk about a game at Walsall in the early 70s, when Alan Waddle got the winner in his last game for us before joining Liverpool. Look what happened to them afterwards.

I am the SOLE founder and SOLE administrator of The Brotherhood. As you are aware, ONLY I have authority in this matter. As you are also aware, Scunthorpe are a founder and permanent member of The Brotherhood, as are ALL clubs who were in the Football League in 1986, regardless of their current status. :bdick:

Wild has said several times we aren’t selling anyone this window. Mentioned on a Q and A the other day we’ve rejected several bids already for players. I do think we could he tempted though if it was stupid money.

My favourite Walsall memories were the game at the Bescot in 2001 where Trundle scored his first goal for us and we won 3-2.

Least favourite was when you poached Keates from us when promotion was looking favourable with 8 games to go and we didn't win a game after and finished outside the play offs.

Oh also I used to like the Balti pies, first place I had one.

Seems like an Earlier Model Scott Parker, with his coaching in Spain and other "business interests". has he put any money into Walsall or is he there just to massage his ego.

EDIT - i thought he was involved in this but i wasn't sure
