Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
My grandkids just won't bother studying 2016 in history class. Because no one would believe this shit.

Has Japan let in any Syrians we can blame?

I was wondering who'd be the first. No surprise.
He's right though, any chance of some Muslim or refugee bashing and the forum's Stormfront contingent bolt their load. The reaction to the Munich shooting was both hilarious and depressing. This thread has 6 replys which is rather telling

To be fair there's a wider discussion to be had about radical jihadism because there have been hundreds of incidents with thousands killed. It's a dangerous global movement.

What can you say about a Japanese bloke murdering a load of disabled people? As an individual incident it's every bit as horrific as the ones carried about by IS sympathisers. But (unless there is a popular movement to exterminate the disabled of which I'm unaware) it's not really an interesting topic for discussion.

There could be a discussion about growing violence in society. Atomisation, disenfranchisement, mental health care, the glorifying of violence, the breakdown in societal norms and values. Without a racial element there doesn't seem to be the interest, which is depressing.

There is nothing interesting to discuss about this though, it's a one off case of a maniac killing people because he doesn't like the fact they are disabled in a country where this rarely if ever happens.

Tragic though it is, there's not much to say about it.

I don't think that's true, considering we live in a country which has problems with discrimination against people with disabilities and one which re-elected a government which has brutally cut disability benefits. There's an interesting discussion to be had about attitudes towards the disabled, there just so happen to be no sensationalist villain we can paint to explain all of it.

Beside IDS.

I would say British attitudes towards the disabled although nowhere near perfect are well above attitudes in many countries with similar wealth/social stature, and on a completely plane to poorer countries.
