Having a worse difference than Man City isn't really a sign of a poor season though; City's GD is currently over 30 while no other club has 20. Obviously we're having a poor season, but a GD that is substantially lower than City's (especially after the fixtures they've had) isn't necessarily a sign of that, as Saltire seemed to be implying.

And that's a fair point. "Significantly worse GD than City" isn't really significant, as that applies to every team in the league.

You're right, epic. Personally, I'd have gone with the following observation:

"Significantly worse GD than City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham and notably worse GD than Bournemouth, Everton and Watford."

Much better indicator of a poor season.

It's not fine if he wins, though. Psychopathic behaviour like the way he threw his medical staff under the bus would have been deeply objectionable even if Chelsea had been having a good season. Likewise eye gouging Tito Vilanova and all the other stuff. United might win a bit (highly doubt it'll be next season tbh), but at what cost? Your name will be dragged through the dirt. Interesting to note that a poll on Redcafe about whether you wanted Jose as next manager was overwhelmingly negative at the start of the season. After the season you've had, it's now overwhelmingly positive.

To me, that suggests that deep down your fans know you're dancing with the devil, here. Worse, you're inviting him to build a dynasty for you. I expect this to go horribly wrong for United as a club.

I said on the first page he wouldn't be United manager in 4 years time, didn't even take that. He's finished at the top level.
