That sounds ridiculous, but not exactly serious.

All I know is that the efl have done absolutely nothing to help Orient's plight, want to limit the number of Orient fans allowed to see their side play in the league for the last time due to a peaceful protest, and are responsible for the 'fit and proper' persons test - the most ludicrously named test in sport.

Not to mention the blind and erroneous application of their own rules. Why were Swindon not fined for resting 10 players in the last days of league 1? (it doesn't matter as we still lost and got relegated - but why stipulate rules if you're just going to ignore them?)

Personally no, but a lot did.

Difference being, when the truth came out, we didn't blame the Football League for it. We fucked up, and had to face the consequences. I'd suggest you do the same.

Sadly we can't control what our owners do. But when he failed to pay his own backroom/Admin staff (the heartbeat of most Lower League clubs), sold off and released all our senior players and replaced them all with our youth team, you can only stand and watch.

Every bad owner situation is different.

Surely even you (he said with trepidation) can see why Orient fans would be p*ssed off with the efl for doing nothing whilst our billionaire owner refused to pay players and staff and ran the club into the ground.

If you somehow read into my comment that I was placing the blame for our demise in the hands of the efl then you are beyond help.

I was merely venting my frustrations at the efl for being powerless bean-counting jobsworths who are not fit for purpose. The blame is, quite obviously, all at becheti's door.

I understand that he's asset stripping, but surely the price he paid to buy Orient in the first place is higher than what he'll get when he eventually buggers off (maybe even nothing if the club liquidates). What motivates someone to do that? If it's greed, then he could easily end up with a net loss so it's hardly a sensible thing to do. I just don't get it.

Not sure but John Bowler has been ours for 30 years now. He took over as chairman in 1987.

We gave up trying to guess what he was up to after he relegated us in 2015, things kept changing, goal posts kept getting moved, staff kept moving on all over the place (on and off the pitch) and some of the stories that people got told/found out were absurd.

I have my own theories but at the risk of being sued I am keeping my mouth shut on here!

We've sold 951 tickets for the game tomorrow, I very much doubt there will be any pitch invasion. Its pointless now anyway, the point has already been made.

Our youth team also deserve thanks for all their efforts these last 4 months from the fans in what has been very difficult circumstances.

Becchetti is rumoured to be going to the game tomorrow to watch his football club for the final time. If he spotted he won't make it out of Blackpool without an angry mob chasing him.

Ours... Andrew Jenkins over 60 years on the club's board and about 40 as chairman. Given the context of the thread through it's only very recently he's had a significant stake in the club, he's been chairman or director under many different owners.

The Blackpool protest was a nasty one, completely the opposite to our one a week ago.

It was intriguing to watch a large group of people hurl things at their clubs main reception, practically fighting police and their horses and of course apparently Oyston turned up and his car was bricked.

As for the game, our youngsters fought hard but were undone by a better team who should've scored more than three. One of the clubs worst signings this season scored to ironic cheers from our fans.
