Shame, they were perfect for each other.

Probably about the right time he left, he will always be a legend there though as he's done good things for them.

A stat that surprised me, he was the third longest serving manager in the top 4 divisions behind Wenger and Tisdale.

Shame it didn't work out for him this year, as in the past we have had some great games / players over his time. Hopefully a new manager will kick the players into gear so we can at least push for playoffs, as I don't think the squad is that bad. I don't think we're a bad prospect for any potential new manager.

Steve Evans is the natural progression.

Not suprised he had seemed to have lost it there with some of his post match comments (I know he always blamed cheating opponents and referees as standard for every loss mind).

I presume he must have run out of that excuse on Saturday - losing 3-0 to a side below them.

That means our manager Paul Hurst has moved up to third on that list, for 1 day, before he leaves us today for Shrewsbury!

Genuinely is sad to see him go, done great things for us but the crowd really turned on him on Saturday, it was time to go.

He leaves behind some great memories, he is a good manager and I'm sure he'll do well at a big championship club.

You could do worse than give it to Richie Barker.

Not a lot worse mind.

For pure comedy value, I'd like to see Steve Evans given the job :fl:

Convicted fraudster in charge of handling stolen goods. Could MK be hated anymore if he were to take charge?

Mock all you like, shame Robbo has gone, he's given us great memories- but the time was right imho - get the right person in now and we'll be pushing right up the table. IF we get the right person in... and it certainly won't be Evans.

Where's the Paul Jewell/Paul Ince/Paul Buckle/Steve Evans hybrid manager that Franchise FC deserve?

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Niel Ardley.
He seems to be doing a good job at AFC.
I wonder if Winkelman could tempt him.

I genuinely think he's a good manager, but obviously you are saying it as a joke and that would never happen.

But for some reason sky bet thought it would be funny and put him on at 33/1
