Care to guess who said this?

Then...
"If we can make this happen in the next three years it will be a major plus for this club,"

Now...
"When I was a player here I was right behind everything the fans were doing back then,"

Hmm...

Slight difference between what a ~21 yr old player says in the spur of the moment and what he said in a planned out and written down book. Moreover, NA was at the first game and regular went to our games from the very very start.

Eh? He was thirty years old at the time of the move... some premonition he must have had as a 21rd old that.

Woops, point still stands though. Was an off the cuff comment in line with what his employers were telling him. It didn't take very long at all though for him to see the light. I've read about him talking to the fans at the time and being very much on side. One interview doesn't change that.

Maybe now MK can forget this ridiculous PR stunt and concentrate on finding an actual manager.

We have approached Hearts for their manager. I am quite excited.

Not a bad appointment, done a decent enough job with Hearts and still young. Will probably be given the time to succeed as well.

Does it say much for the Scottish Premier league that a top 3 manager quits for a side near the relegation zone of League One?

Everything I've read coming out of Scotland suggests that this is all down to him seeing his long term future in England, and it's a lot easier to get noticed by the bigger clubs down here than it is up there, even down at our level.

If it goes well for him (and that would have to be promotion at some point in the next two and half years) then I'm sure it won't be long before those big offers come in. Right now we serve his purpose. I don't have a problem with that.

Sure it's a good move for him as you guys should not be near the bottom so the only way is up!

He's only come down south because of that crazy rug-muncher Sturgeon and her plans to drag Scotland into an economic abyss.

It's just been announced that terms have been agreed with Hearts and that Neilson & Crawford will be in MK tomorrow to finalise the deal.

Their first proper game (ignoring the Checkatrade friendly) will be against our chums from Merton.

Snorkel, flippers.....

Presumably as manager and assistant?

Opening the door for Barker to come to us?

I would assume so. A really nice guy and supposedly a good coach, but knows his place as he's been a muppet as a manager in the past.

Yep. 24 hours after leaving MK Dons he's announced as being added to our coaching staff.
