3 very good players there.
While I think our own Luke Freeman should win it, I reckon Alli will get it as he's been in the media spotlight a lot and has signed for one of the big boys. That shouldn't really have a bearing but the cynic in me thinks that will happen, unfortunately.
On Luke, I remember saying to a friend at the Stevenage game last season that he would be some player in the middle rather than out wide but I questioned his stamina. That shows I can see a player but no fook all about fitness! :emb:

I'd plump for Turnbull. Up until his unfortunate recent suspension, he was the only player to start every single game this season and has just got better and better the more football he has played. Luongo is excellent and technically our best player but, for me, Turnbull has been that little bit more consistent.

Foderingham and Luongo would probably make my top 3 though.
Probs Turnbull for me too.

Reckon Louis T would have won it but for his injury though.

I've just had a phone call from Steven Pressley and his vote goes to Andy Webster.

Dele Alli just won FL Young Player Of The Year ahead of Bamford and Redmond. Can't see him winning the L1 award too.

I like football (a little bit) and I care about a lot of things in life but, I draw the line quite a bit before caring about the FL League one player awards.

Has been a bit of an overreaction to be honest, in the context of things it matters very little, when you look at league positions etc, but would of just been a nice achievement to celebrate such indivuial brilliance this season from Freeman.

Got to the take positives in it - may keep interest off him in the Summer!

I'd like to say I'm surprised, but I'm not.

As a fanbase, they come across as the type to spit the dummy over such trivial nerdy shit.

The reaction on Twitter is hilarious, he's pure evil that Garner.

Garner's response to being asked why he didn't go to the awards ceremony: "fucked it off, got a big game Tuesday"

:fl: Says the one who resorts to reporting posts on a football forum!

Without Freeman, we'd struggle to make the Play Offs.

I disagree completely with that comment. Thats doing the rest of the team a massive disservice imho, and suggesting that we are a one man team which we certainly are not. You honestly think that we'd be more than twenty points worse off without him?
