So - with the nominees getting picked out next week, let's get people's opinions on who should be in it.

Foderingham is consistently good and the way we play has learned how to play with the ball at his feet with confidence.

Byrne has got worse as the season has gone on.

For me Luongo has to make the team, he has been excellent all season and I'll be amazed if he is still in a Town shirt next season.

I go to very few away games but from the teams I've seen at the CG this season the only player that has stuck out is Freeman of Bristol City.

Therefore my team is:

Luongo
Freeman

W Elliot hasn't had a very good season, nowhere near as influential as the tail end of last season! Shouldn't be anywhere near L1 team of the year!

Wade Elliott - no.

From us Flint and Freeman would be contenders. Korey Smith also very good.

This is about right I reckon. Maybe Martin between the sticks because he has kept the most clean sheets but the rest of it is spot on.

I'd say Daniel Johnson. 8 assists for Chesterfield, 3 goals in 5 games for preston and oldham.

He's missed months of the season as well.

John Egan needs to be considered for this. None of our other players are anywhere near his level.

Is it just me, but when I watch my team play I really take fuck all notice of the opposition players

Of course, I notice individual players if their performance stands out - either for fouling or good play - but not to the extent I can be arsed to find out who they are.

The only player that has truly stood out for me was JET last season at the CG. He was fucking awesome.

Ps to City - if you're going to mug him off at the end of the season send him down the M4

Totally with you. I just notice how great our players are and if there's an opposition player ripping us a new one then George Ray can go to hell.

Well, I pretty much know all the opposition players anyway and I like to actually watch the game in an anaytical way, maybe that is why I'm not as biased as a lot of people on here..

Being a fan means being biased - even if the actual truth is biting you on the arse!
