Being honest I don't know enough about other teams players to make a team, just from City I would say main contenders would be Flint, K.Smith, Freeman and Bryan, maybe Wilbraham at the end if he can go on another run but plenty ahead of him at the moment.

Since City have been back in League 1 i have been really impressed with the quality compared to the last time we were down here. More teams try to play the right way than before, last time majority of the league were very physical long ball specialists.

In seriousness I wouldn't put him in a team of the season, however had a player been at a club producing that form over a whole season then I'd say it would be very difficult to argue against a place in the ToTS

The second header and the half volley against them in the game where he scored 4 are 2 of his best ones imo

PNE play more structured than us, hence why they have conceded a few less than us, but we've scored quite a few more.

At the start of the season, it was very gung-ho, and our game plan was simply to out score teams, but since November onwards the balance between attack and defence has been improved, and where we have tightened up, the goals haven't stopped flowing.

I'd love to know how many games we've scored 3 in this season, much exceed 10, but going beyond that, we've only scored 4 in a game once!

Very difficult leaving out the likes of Baker, K.Smith, Done. Didn't have Freeman in the side when we did it on the old forum but he's picked up a few goals recently as well as being top of the assist charts, so had to include him

Yep, strikers were the hardest to pick for me. Given that Doyle is gone and Garner has missed a fair bit of the season I didn't feel that happy putting him in but there, but there isn't a whole lot else to choose from. He edged it over Wilbraham and Bradshaw, who, had they been fit regularly, would probably have made the team

Good call. He's been excellent most of the season. I wasn't his biggest fan last season, thought he flapped a lot and conceded stupid goals from distance but he's probably been our player of the season. Made some stunning saves on Tuesday at Yeovil, one in particular was world class. Saved us at Notts County too.

Paul Gallagher has got to be in ths team. The number of assists and goals this seasons has been immense.

His vision and delivery is superb and he seems to be getting better by the game

The best opposition players i have seen at Deepdale this season was Roy Carroll on the opening day, he was class.

And Daniel Johnson for Chesterfield (now PNE) 3-0 up then Johnson ran us ragged and it finished 3-3
