Thought about this the other day and was thinking about running it again if people are interested enough. If anybody does and is either new and/or forgotten the rules here they are; Each week you have to choose a team and if your team win, you go through, if they lose or draw, you go out. The game continues until there is a winner. You may only pick each team once. You may pick any team from the Conference or the Conference North/South. If too many games get postponed I'll delay it.

I'm happy to join in with this again! I'll take AFC Fylde, with Brackley distracted by their upcoming cup replay a visit up North before the trip to Wales is not something they need, not when they haven't won away this season...

What happens if the match we pick is postponed Harrier94? It's safe to say there will be a lot of postponements over this month and December.

Thanks.

If there's too many postponements in one week I'll just delay it till the next round of fixtures. But hopefully it won't be too bad.

Or we could add in a bye system if someone's game is postponed but we can see what everyone else thinks

I think the bye system is the better option, though it's also a bit unfair when someone goes through to the next round just because a game has been called off. Still imo, it's better than cancelling all predictions just because of postponements.

I'm ok with whatever you guys reckon is the best way.

Postponed should mean your out I think.

I had one last year where I had a team on a Monday night, they were winning but game got abandoned! I got turfed out instead of going to last handful of people left!!

An idea for postponements is that in the event your game is postponed you have to submit an extra pick the next round. That way you don't lose by luck of being rained off, and you don't win by it either. The postponed game completely void so you can pick the same team again in the future if you want to.

Would be a little harder to police of course!
