Well deserved win.

Doyle is class, and that 2nd goal - JESUS CHRIST.

Onto Tuesday and a home game vs Wimbledon.

FIFTH brace of the season for Doyle, mental.

That was massive. Get in! Now a real chance to kick on and climb the table.

Doyle is too good for this level. Davies put a shift in and I feel for dumigan had a great game but for his glaring error for the goal

We have already stated we'll be bringing in another striker in January, I hope we put our name forward for Doyle him and Wyke would be hard to stop.

I reckon half the division will want him at this rate. That's 12 in 11 currently which quite frankly is ridiculous.

Unless we can offer him serious money (a possability with our takeover, albeit slim)I doubt we will keep him. And then there is the transfer fee.

I looked up his stats a few weeks ago and saw that he bagged 25 by January with Chesterfield the last time he was in this division!! (2014/15) It goes to show that this is no fluke. He was then bought by Cardiff on deadline day, who along with PNE never played him for a consistent run.

Did get 5 in 11 starts for Cardiff though, I wouldn't be surprised if a Championship outfit took a punt on him.

Nowt wrong with a little bragging...I reckon you Latics fans deserve it after the start you made to the season. You fully deserved to beat us yesterday, and to be honest, we were awful throughout.
Our defence has been a real problem all season (and wasn't good last year when we at least could score) and until our Manager realises that McNulty is at best a run of the mill L2 centre half, we will struggle.

I hope I'm wrong, but can see a long hard Winter for Dale. it will be a test of just how good Hilly is...hopefully he will sort it out.

He's had plenty of opportunity to show what he can do and failed, he'll never be good enough for the Championship.

3 of his 5 goals for Cardiff were penalties I think, the jump for strikers like him (poachers with no physical attributes) is a big one.

You need more about you than being a good poacher to succeed in the Championship, whether that be good hold up play, pace or an ability to drop deep and create. I've seen a video of Doyle's goals for Oldham and the vast majority of those opportunities just wouldn't happen in the Championship.

I reckon he'll end up at Wigan where he will be reunited with Cook, they'll be willing to pay a decent fee for him.

This is pretty much spot on. Doyle is Will Grigg mark two. For that reason I don't really want to sign him because it'll just be a case of one step forward two steps back if we go up.

Lost a lot of your big players. Dale always had a settled sold side I could normally name it before kick off. Mendez Laing, Allen, Lund, fielding the keeper all gone and not really replaced.

I can see them struggling this season sadly, we'll need as many points on the board as we can as when the goals of Doyle and the industry of Byrne in the middle go in Jan we will struggle. I can't see us keeping either.
