Can't wait to see the Birmingham highlights when they play you at St AndrewsI guarantee if you’ve watched him in these past 5 games you’d agree. Plus Okonkwo played like a tradesmen against Birmingham.

For the stagsLast game of the season pal, promotion party.

nope, that’s Jed steers spot, I’d even pick mannion over pym.Christy Pym now added to the list, called up for Northern Ireland. After Lincoln where he had a mare he’s probably been the best keeper in the league, well deserved.

I know inexplicably a lot of people (outside of Wrexham fans) don't think Okonkwo is any good but he has the best goals conceded per game ratio (0.84) of any Wrexham goalkeeper who has made 50 appearances.
For that to be the case for a keeper who has just turned 23 year old is insane, and why we all rate him so highly. His potential is huge.
I highly rate Okonkwo genuinely, but not everything is about Wrexham, Pym deserves his praise for being in such good form and getting recognition via an international call up.
I don’t think anybody on this thread even slagged Okonkwo off other than me taking the piss after vaguely remembering a mistake against Birmingham, dunno what summoned you to defend him. I’ve posted at least a few times on here saying I rate him highly.
Honestly, I did rate Pym when we went to your gaff last season. He’s a good keeper, as i said from what ive seen of him he’s not far off pym.
Pym did well for being the “fat lad in goal” conceding the least amount of goals in league 2 last year mind.

Pah, Pym has conceded 11, Whitworth only 6....definitely rather have the latter at the momentHe’s a good keeper, as i said from what ive seen of him he’s not far off pym.

Short answer. Not the foggiest.Any inside knowledge on what's going on with Benjamin Taminu?
a) No work permit
b) Not registered in time
c) No first touch
d) Not even close to match fitness. (This is actually what I think the problem might be. I know I might be being unfair on the Tanzanian league, but I think we don't realise how fit footballers need to be, so I'm guessing the club have him training separately until he can get up to the baseline for shuttles or whatever. The guy just hasn't played a full 90 minutes in a long, long time).
e) Just not good enough to get in the team.
f) Needs to learn English lower league style of play
The Nigerian fans are pretty salty about his callup, and quite a few saying that it's down to corruption; that's someone's getting a cut of his appearance money. Both Taminu and Eguavoen (the national coach) seem aware of the controversy. Must be nice to have the Super Eagles as your feeder team that you can send players out on loan to.
But yeah, given the discrepancies on the transfer fee;
g) Money Laundering

Bristol Rovers must have faced a lot of shots this season then. Feels they've conceded a lot.
I knew one of our lot wouldn't be able to resist on this eventuallyChristy Pym now added to the list, called up for Northern Ireland. After Lincoln where he had a mare he’s probably been the best keeper in the league, well deserved.

We can't have inaccuracies on here. Statistically Tickle or Whitworth are the best keepers in the league.
Next thing they will claim Clough is the best manager.
Just looked up the stats and our Addai is behind three different Reading goalkeepers.
Top 2 both loan keepers too
Addai is a worry for me. Wouldn't surprise me to see Hinchliffe get the number 1 spot back at some point.Just looked up the stats and our Addai is behind three different Reading goalkeepers.
For such a stat-driven team it's insane that he's undroppable.
Bristol Rovers (140), Mansfield (135), Shrewsbury (130) and Exeter/Posh (129) have given up the most amount of shots.Bristol Rovers must have faced a lot of shots this season then. Feels they've conceded a lot.
Our keeper isn't on the list as he doesn't have many shots to face due to our defence, he defo earnt his wage at Blackpool though.
I think I'll have been one of the ones who've questioned the Wrexham keeper. In fairness though, I did state that he just has never had a good game when I've watched him. If he's universally rated amongst fans who watch him every week, they obviously have far more to go on.

Wasn't overly keen on him when I saw him for Crawley and he hasn't done loads to change my mind.
