Funny that because after we played Bolton you literally posted and complimented how Mansfield turned up to play, and win.
A bit unfair on Mansfield, they play decentish football

During my time supporting Mansfield in the EFL* we only seem to be successful when playing a attacking exciting brand of football, whereas others clubs like Lincoln for example always seem to be successful playing a more of a type without the ball, more direct. It’s funny how it works out like that even over decades in some cases for clubs.

EFL* - the only time we’ve been successful with another style was when we won the conference under Paul Cox, which was pretty simple hit it out to the pacey wingers ASAP, cross it to Matt Rhead who then lays it off to Matt Green to finish the job.

At the half way mark, 5 sides are yet to get a penalty. Big bollocks Brum have 6....

Stockport County.
The best teams always get the most penalties because they're in the opposition box most often and therefore law of averages. Not much more to it.

The best teams obviously get the most pens but do the big teams get more preferable decisions .

The couple of Birmingham penalties I've seen appear soft. Probably helps if you shout and bawl at the ref too..

Hardly anyone appealed with any expectation of getting the pen and the ref just gave it, i was surprised, as it was very soft

In general yes of course this is true, although Stevenage and Shrewsbury both have three times as many penalties as us and Reading and I'm not sure they are better teams.

Half of what I read on this forum is about Wrexham not getting penalties.

Meanwhile there are still 5 other teams who haven’t had one yet

Only because it was suggested that we get a lot, and there is a discussion about penalties. Also there are several Wrexham posters. You won't have seen any of us moan about not getting penalties.

We don't get many because mostly we are putting crosses into the box whereas the likes of Birmingham and Stockport are more likely to be playing it on the floor to runners who get tripped. Maybe the teams who haven't had any aren't getting anywhere near the box at all?

Only 3 teams in this division scored more goals than us so far so how are we not getting near the box. We haven’t had a home penalty since 2021, and believe me we’ve had so many stonewall penalties it’s beyond belief. It’s hard not to wonder when others seem to get them for nothing and I’m not picking out a specific team.

Stupendous officiating for Rotherham today.

Touray shoved forward so that the ball comes off him, clearest foul you'll see all day but they just give a corner from which the home side score

Rotherham 'keeper comes flying out and wipes out Tanto about eight yards outside the area, no foul

Few seconds later Barry gets absolutely sandwiched, stonewall penalty ignored.

I don't want to rely on decisions when County should be doing more to turn over a limited Rotherham side, but it's horrible when basic errors keep going against you.

You've already had more than your quota of penalties this season. That's your lot

Watching your game spot on , and these decisions often have a major influence on the outcome so your right to point them out.

Lewis Bate and Tanto Olaofe out until February, Fraser Horsfall out for months.

If you don't hear from me again it's because I've jumped off the Viaduct.

Well the latter is absolutely true for us.

Can’t comment on the rest, only a minor observation that it feels like every other Wrexham post is moaning how you don’t get penalties

It's a racist conspiracy. Because we are Welsh.
