Birmingham is one of the most diverse cities in the world and sadly there was still racial abuse targeted at our fans on Saturday. Sadly seems to be back on the rise in football but also good it’s being called out more, there’s idiots at every club
Makes me sad to hear it, we are a multi cultural city and fan base but some idiots cannot behave themselves, i'm ashamed and sorry to the charlton fans that went thru that.

Yeah a real shame to spoil a good win for you, good to see the club dealing with it quickly.

You'd think diversity would help, but then you have places like Luton, one of the most cosmopolitan in the country, and they gave us the bloody EDL.

We had a fan banned recently for racist behaviour, and that's hardly very on brand for Cambridge.

It must be called out wherever it happens, be that Birmingham, Cambridge or on the pitch at Burnley!

I don’t know enough about Birmingham to say but a big reason vile groups like the EDL come from Luton is a lack of integration from the immigrant population. That’s not an excuse to being a racist piece of shit like, obvs but the correlation is indisputable.

I imagine nearly every fan of every club on this forum has heard racist remarks from the stands in the past, thankfully it’s much lesser now but unfortunately it does and will always rear it’s ugly head.

It’s been a long, long time since I’ve heard anything from Mansfield fans but funnily enough there was a rare report of racial abuse from the away end at Cambridge the other week, I have no idea if someone has been identified/charged but police are aware.

I'm not convinced on it being lesser and rare tbh, we've had 2 incidents in League One this weekend as well as on the pitch in the championship. My wife is from HK and has joined me at about 15 Charlton games in the last 5 years and been racially abused twice. It's seemingly on the rise again.

I think it may be a case of being reported more than previously. Which is obviously a good thing, but you can definitely make a argument it’s on the rise again

They also get the highest crowds, so statistically likely to have more idiots than most.

3.7mn losses, I'm sure they are desperate for more 'investment'.

Stockport County.
Ben Hinchliffe out for 8-10 weeks. One game shy of his 400th appearance for the club. Cruel but still got another year next year so should eventually reach the milestone.

Blow for us too, Addai doesn't fill me full of confidence but he did make a couple of good saves when he came on at Wigan last week.

Sounds like your old boss Lindsey wanted him in January in his mission to seemingly continue to get the band back together at MK Dons.

Their offer was supposedly higher than what we paid you for him. But we turned it down. Whether that was because we're fully behind Addai or whether it's because we didn't have time to get a replacement, I'm not sure.

Lindsey ain't doing so well at MK.(There again he's about the 4th manager on the trot to have issues). It never seems to work signing the same players.

I'll always have a soft spot for Addai, and all that team, but he has got a mistake in him.

Addai always come across as a liability to me. Mind you Pym is at the minute, more of a confidence issue tho.
