Moving onto Last Man Standing VI, we now know that there are an additional 370 points to go with the 608 rolling over from LMS V. The prize breakdown is therefore.....

1st place = 684 points
2nd place = 196 points
3rd place = 98 points

The magic of the FA Cup has cost 10 players a 2nd round place as Bristol Rovers, Chesterfield & Peterborough all failed to win. A healthy 24 make it safely into round with another 3 being granted a stay of execution following the postponement of the Stourbridge-Northampton game (see below the results for more info on this):

As the re-arranged Stourbridge-Northampton fixture won't happen until after our round 2 fixtures, joethegill, Robie & Vanni will need Northampton to win their League 1 fixture away at Port Vale to remain in the competition. All 3 players are to make round 2 selections as normal and these selections will remain valid in the unlikely event of Northampton somehow managing to win at Vale Park

I'm not sure I'm happy about that situation with Northampton but you have to find a way round it I guess.

I can't see any other way around it. My original idea was to keep any postponed selection pending until the re-arranged fixture is played (which wouldn't be too bad in this case as the re-arrangement is only a week and a bit away) but a postponed league match in December might not be re-arranged until March and I could end up with a load of games awaiting fixtures to be played months later. It would be impossible to keep up with where the game was at and I don't get paid enough for that.

The only other potential solution would be to disregard the postponed selection and allow the players affected to pick 2 selections from the next set of fixtures. This would maintain an equal number of selections but I didn't think it would be fair to allow some players to pick from a different set of fixtures to the rest

I think you have got off lightly with it becoming a selection to beat a Vale side in pretty poor form

Seriously though, I see your point but don't really have an answer to the problem that will seem fair to all.
