Looking at that, Scunthorpe and Crewe have both been majorly impressive since October!

any team in this league seems capable of going on a run and beating any other team which is why there isn't any gimmes in this league...not that there ever was but the standard outside the top 3/4 seems more even than it normally is.

Thought we would be a lot lower than that. Our best form was September.

He must have some idea, given he got you promoted last season.

Here lies Russ Wilcox, he didn't know how football worked...(apart from that time he went 28 games unbeaten, got a side promoted and broke a 125 year old record)

'Wilcox has experienced an introduction to management that he could scarcely have imagined. He must wonder what all the fuss is about; why 55 per cent of first-time bosses never get a second job.

Scunthorpe’s unbeaten run was a record for a manager’s first spell in charge, beating a 125-year mark set by Preston North End’s William Sudell in 1888-89'

lol.

Did you see our squad? Did you see how he threw about 30+ points in the 90th minute last season? Anybody could get promoted with that squad.

We will second to bottom of the league when Robins took over, Wilcox had picked up 7 points in seven games, is that really a good manager?

I know, I've won awards for it on TFF.

Anyway, I hate to ruin everyone's day on this thread but we'll take that trophy now thankyou very much...for today marks the League 1 equivalent of The Undertaker's 'bbbwwwong'

I bet he comes back half the player he was, for it is written in a prophecy that Notts County are not allowed nice things.

Well that's us fucked then. Our best keeper and best player are both out for a while.

I thought MK had a big squad?
In fairness, for the first time in years we actually have enough options to cover this. Andrews, Reeves, Baker and Carruthers could all do a job alongside Potter.

2 home games against Crawley today and Bradford on Tuesday which will further shape the top 3. We really need 6/6 but fear Bradford.

Well - a shocking first 25 minutes lets MK well and truly back into it.

As for Swindon..

Almost forgot to mention - PNE win their two games in hand and they rise to second.

It's 2 from 4, stand tall City.

We were due a blip and it looks like we are officially in the midst of one. That's four defeats in five now. Two big, glaring issues for us at the moment: a) stupid defensive mistakes and b) impotency up front. The mistakes at the back have creeped back into our game and show no signs of abating. And the goals have dried up up front, with a couple of sitters again missed today. Until we sort these out, we'll struggle and slip rather limply into the play-offs.

Ah yes - excuse my poor Mathematical ability.

It does raise a good point though. I still reckon our GD will play a big part, it might come down to that on the last day at this rate and I am glad we have that advantage over the others. City will still win the league for sure but it is well and truly a 3 horse race for 2nd now!

Luckily we're all wobbling a bit at the minute. Preston looking the biggest threat right about now
