This is how I see our situation, too. I'd happily end the season now. You lot will clinch the title now, I reckon.
You deserve it as well, really. You've been the only consistent side all season.

That 2nd spot is ours to fuck up now though.

Excuse our scepticism Cha but we haven't won a title in eons (1955 I think) so we're waiting for the wheels to fall off. We ARE looking good atm though. Personally, I want you lot up with us.

It's nothing against Swindon (although I can't high 6) but a respect thing. As mentioned, we went up at Deepdale in 1998 and they were superb hosts so we returned the courtesy a couple of years later when PNE went up at our place.
Great club, decent support and they deserve a chance 'upstairs'.

Another excellent day for Bristol City. They won again and are now 12 points clear of Swindon and look good bets for promotion not that its saying much. Preston are looking good to finish 2nd, won 5 out of their last 6(all to nil). Their run over the next few weeks looks favourable as well.

Swindon got back to winning ways after a poor recent run of form and will need to keep their foot down to keep in touch with Preston. 4 away games in their next 5 will make that tough if they can't start winning on their travels however. MK Dons*cough*cough*choke*cough* are slipping away, although they've done well with such a limited set of resources. Seriously though, they need to up their game otherwise they risk getting left behind and having to settle for another play off lottery. Sheff U have also run into a blip in form, 1 win in their last 5 and the chasing pack starting to reel them in. Got to make the most of these next 4/5 games. Doncaster got a decent draw but are also being chased down by the teams below them. Got some very tough fixtures coming up, so don't be surprised if 6th place changes around over the next few weeks.

Barnsley have gone from relegation battlers to promotion contenders, such is the mad nature of the middle of the table this season. 5 straight wins and they are on a roll. They'll need a decent return from these next 2 away games with 3 promotion contenders to come after that. Posh are also rising from nowhere to make a late push. They also have some tricky fixtures coming up. Chesterfield didn't play but stay in the hunt. 3 of their next 4 are at home, need to take advantage of that. Bradford also didn't play and have the games in hand advantage. 5 very winnable games coming up for them.

Such is the tightness of the chasing pack, the Vale and Fleetwood are also on 48 points and only 2 off the play offs. Good luck choosing who finishes 6th this season.
