Still not gonna sign a new contract.

Bet he ends up somewhere like Wolves.
Would love him here.

Him and Freeman in the same team, don't make me dream...

If PNE were to get him, an Attacking Midfield 3 of Pringle, Gallagher and Humphrey is scary in League One.

Where's he going though? If he was going to, say, PNE, I would rather he stay where he is. If he was coming to us, I totally agree with you. :D

He's going to Manchester United, Kachina told me.

Pretty sure Johnson is an attacking mid, but I stand to be corrected.

We're not in for Doyle, there's no way we'd pay that sort of fee.

I think Grayson has even come out and said we're not looking at strikers.

Ebanks-Blake scored the other week didn't he?

I think PNE have enough strikers to be honest.

We need to over-turn a 2 goal deficit and we're playing Kevin Davies up front, by himself.....

Where's Beckford? Or SEB? Or Little?

Also - Garner to come back, no need for more.

Still 8 or 9 games before Garner is back.

Our current striking options are mid-table at best and none of them are ever fit enough to play every week.

How we signed the Crewe lad then or not?

Marc de Val Fernandez has left the club after a rather disastrous 18 months of nothingness.

I doubt you will find out until Friday as the end of the season would be 93 days away and that's all you can have from a loan player.

McLean has finished his loan move to Peterborough. Rumours from their end that he could be going back permanently with one of their players coming the other way. We hope and pray.

Not when you find out that the player in question is Tyrone Barnett

Is that the rumour then? Not entirely sure we need another lump upfront (that's what he is, isn't he?), but if he's on less wages than McLean and allows us to move further in the transfer market I'll probably take it. Just not worked out for McLean here.

Smurf has confirmed we are after another striker after Saturday's defeat to Crewe has seemingly prompted him to want to spend more money to get it right.

No idea who but looking at three players as targets.

Glad you mention Armand BD. Gnanduillet's game has come on quite a bit recently, but he lacks goals and doesn't seem to me to be much of an option when we're chasing a game. Harrison's strike rate compares favourably albeit at L2 level and i know for a fact that Cook has thought well of him for a while.

We're told it's a signing to supplement the squad and not as a replacement for anyone else. No reason to get your hopes up then, Doyle fans...

He's not a lump.

He's a young, quick, dynamic striker with a great eye for goal.

His aerial ability is unbelievable and his commitment is unquestionable.

Sign him up.

Always liked the look of Byron, he absolutely destroyed us when Cheltenham beat us 5-0 in the FA cup earlier in the season. Looks like he could be a handful when coming off the bench. Shrewd signing.

The pox offered 500k apparently which was accepted for Barnett but he couldn't agree personal terms.

Grayson has now decided we need another attacking option....

“It shows we are a bit short in that area.

“I would like to try and bring in another player at the top end of the pitch, we will have to wait and see if we manage to do that.

“We might have to manoeuvre one or two players out to make that happen over the next few days.

“I have spoken to people and said I would like to bring in another attacking force.

“I’m not saying a central striker necessarily but someone who can play down the middle or out wide, give us that bit of quality we are missing at the moment.

Basically just describes Callum Robinson, no idea how bad his injury is though.

How many players is that signed up this season now? If you get a forward in that is.

What's happening with Doyle? He's still with you isn't he?

I said at the start of the transfer window that I was confident he wouldn't move and it's not looking like he will which is excellent news.

being linked to Doyle again, possibly as its unlikely COG will be coming back now as he's done well at Brighton since his return there.
