Fair one. I remember CMS and Gayle both leaving him for dead all the time. Heck, even Tomlin outpaced him at times.

Clearly wasn't, I was just agreeing with SERNWA that the reserve captain we got from a big team wasn't very good. Wasn't "belittling" port vales signing at all. I was talking to SERNWA not you.

I was only making the point about Swindon fans because there has been at least 2 of them on here who have commented on just about every one of our summer signings so far

One of them was me MJA, and I did mention that I had taken interest in your signings as they were way more fascinating than any other team's in league 1 and as I am currently out of work have loads of time on my hands!

I see some other people have commented on the fact your new signing is the Captain of a big club's reserve team which is not always a guarantee that he is any good, BUT, as with all of your signings, NOBODY on this forum can say how well they are going to do until the season kicks off.

No town fan has tried to, or wants to start a rivalry with Port Vale, I think the lack of our transfer movement has meant we are taking more of an interest in what is going on at Vale Park, because its a bit like when Di Canio started to sign a load of foreigners which of course was very exciting at the time!

We know you're supposedly not in the best financial putting so are trying to have your pants down. May be cheeky but I'd be doing the same tbh.

Going public with it would suggest to me Flitcroft is waning to start a bidding war which is obviously in your best interests and, well, I'd be doing the same again.

I think Leon's the only player we wouldn't let go for peanuts. He was talking about Ajose and Bradshaw going for good fees and he believes he's just as good. Personally I think 500k is reasonable.

We have signed Rob Hall on a free. Was with Bolton, and had a loan spell with MK Dons. We also had him on loan from West Ham a few seasons ago, and he was fantastic for us. He's currently injured having done his knee in,but confident, we will see him in the Autumn.

I personally think its a good signing time will tell.

Heard he is on good money, over £4K a week
