Word is that we are going for Omar Bogle - don't know if it's a loan or permanent. Permanent is a possibility as his stock has surely dropped since his move to Cardiff and not particularly successful loan stint at Birmingham this season. Would possibly be a good fit for us, though.
4 goals in 2 seasons; but I’d say a typical Jackett signing and should do ok for Portsmouth I’d imagine. Scored against us before.

Tbh our main striker Oli Hawkins has been relied upon far more for his hold up play and ability to lay off to our goalscoring wingers, so hopefully Bogle can do a similar job and add some more goals too. Potentially a good signing.. 2-4 more now please Kenny!

Last player whose goal scoring record Kenny called into question was Cauley Woodrow who now has 9 in 18 so far this season so I reckon Bogle will now score every game.

Clearly a decent player who's capable and has played higher........but those nine goals just about double his total career goals. So he wasn't wrong in asking the question.

......Maybe triple. But you get my drift. He hasn't been prolific up until now

We're in the market for a striker and I'd be a bit underwhelmed if we'd signed Bogle. Pompey are clearly bigger, so I'd have expected better from them........Cue bucket loads of goals now.

I reckon he’ll have a decent goal tally from now til end of season. Helps coming into a team that’s performing of course but I wouldn’t rule out a dozen or so from him.

He was ripping League 2 to pieces before he moved to Wigan so he’s certainly capable of getting some goals at L1. These last couple of years will have set him back.

So not scoring barely any in 2 years to scoring 12 goals in 18-19 games? Never say never, but that is a tough expectation.

£10 to a charity of your choice he bags at least 10 league goals.

Not called into question his ability - we obviously know all about him. Going from no goals to a hatful is a tough ask.

There is a difference between the divisions.

I don’t think there’s a hell of a lot of difference between leagues 1 & 2 to be fair. As evidenced by your own teams form. They’re both dog turd.

In fact three of the four promoted teams are in the top 10 at the moment and Stanley aren’t doing awful either.

Desi Oshialja linked from AFC Wimbledon to Luton.

Akin Fanewo about to sign for Norwich City after being recalled from Grimsby. Slightly strange move that considering he struggled to get into their team, but has potential and pushy parents.

James Justin linked to Aston Villa and Stoke City, despite the latters non poaching ban. Rumour has it that they’re not allowed to start the bidding but mustn’t instigate the process. Is there anything the weasel won’t stop at?

Grant Leadbitter back at Sunderland having rejected a few deals in the Championship.

Leabitter back, a CM not exactly what we needed but he will walk into the club being our best CM so can't really complain. As well as being a leader, local lad etc.

With Grigg still ongoing we're looking at other avenues accoriding to our local Sky journo, notably John Marquis and Tom Eaves.

Not so much for Eaves though, out of contract in the summer.

That JJ thing is waffle. Villa are in talks with Tyrone Mings and Stoke aren't able to buy players from us this window regardless of what anyone else tries to do. Don't believe what you read on Facebook ffs.

Facebook indeed.

Giving Nile Ranger a deal till end of the season will probably be quite good business from Rochdale he will start off very well.. It's when they give him a 2/3 year deal in the summer after a blinding 6 months it goes all tits up.
This. We have an urgent need of another forward who can score regularly to take the burden off Ian Henderson - Matt Done has lost his pace, Jordan Williams is more a winger, Brad Inman and Matt Gillam are more attacking midfielders than strikers, Calvin Andrew is a good lad but gets about 6 goals a season, Aaron Wilbraham is 38 and makes Calvin look prolific - Ranger doing a short term job would be a decent shout.

Our forum also rumours about Left Back Mal Benning from Mansfield (competent enough, I believe) and goalie Jake Kean (no thanks).

I'm sure there would be a riot in the Rochdale ranks if a convicted person was allowed to put on saint Rochdale shirt?

Top club Rochdale who never ever do anything wrong you see.

Apparently favourites to sign Lloyd Isgrove from Barnsley. I know nothing about him apart fro his name was banded around in the summer. Looks to have played in the championship, but fallen out of favour/injured this season?

He came through Sc*m's youth academy. Played 16 times for Barnsley in the Champ but only made a couple of league appearances this season. Injuries, crapness, attitude or manager no-likey?

Injuries mate, we’re trying to do you over. He can’t shake them. It’s a shame because when he’s fit he’s pretty good but it looks like Jordan Green coming in is the end for him here.

Cheers. Probably back-up for Lowe and Curtis anyway as we lost Green and Wheeler recently.

Ryan McGowan is set to sign for Dundee.

We’re still expecting to sign 3 players by tomorrow’s deadline.

If he contributes a couple of goals or assists he'll have done more than Wheeler and Green did in the league
