Can't see either going - especially Thompson who has come out more than once saying the group wants to stay together and achieve promotion.

The Luongo rumour is just a Twitter thing - no substance at all

It wouldn't surprise me if Swindon got some big bids for players this month, such is the nature of their performance so far this season it's almost inevitable. Will the board have the backbone to turn down big bids.

Can't see Luongo to Cardiff happening. Aren't they currently cost-cutting? Don't think they'd match our valuation.

We're interested in signing Dutch striker Kevin Van Veen, supposedly they want a fair bit of money for him so I doubt he will be coming.

Nicky Clark to us on loan looks a go'er. He's a quick poacher...I'm in.

Adam Dugdale off to Tranmere, 18 month deal in place.

Not the most talented but definitely one of the most likeable players you'll ever come across. So humble and passionate. To get released by us, end up in the depths at the likes of Droylsden and then come back and be ever present in a promotion winning side, it's just great story.

We're still looking at a midfielder/ winger.

Cameron Stewart from Ipswich was mentioned the other day.

We've signed Jon Anyon till the end of the season, I seem to remember him being at Port Vale many years ago. He will most likely be back up to Daniels until Slocombe returns.

Cameron Stewart is incredible at step-overs, not much else though.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Ben Pringle.

Him & Johnson would actually make us worth watching again.

Does he do the brilliant step over, step over, pass backwards?

Yep because our bellend manager plays him on the right despite being an out & out leftie.

He needs to go to the Jennison Myrie Williams school of football and learn how to cut in on his left and do absolutely nothing.

Judging on yesterday's performance (albeit it against a top quality Premier League side) we need a striker with a bit of pace about them.

I know we have Agard, but is he really the answer? I don't think I've ever seen him properly skin someone for either pace or skill.

Freeman is always looking to slide balls through, but we don't have the pace to meet the ball.

Strikers with natural pace are few and far between at this level, but I'd like to see someone like Callum Robinson or Jose Angel Pozo (possibly being a bit ambitious) be brought into our side.

Cotterill did say we're in for two players, no rumours of any strikers yet although.

Just win League 1 with what you've got and don't be bellends. You don't fucking 'need' anything. A fucking chimpanzee could be manager and play everyone out of position and you'd still go up.

Brentford, Wolves and, erm, Sevilla the latest clubs linked to Mass Luongo.

I feel confident that if we do sell it won't be for the first offer we receive, which has usually been the case with us over the years. I also think we should have faith in the clubs ability to find an ample replacement, going by the current regime's recruitment record since they've been here.

We've also shown we can win games without Mass and although preferable to keep him, a couple of million in the coffers and a suitable replacement would be acceptable.

The biggest issue for me is that it's getting later and later into the transfer window, therefore any sale leaves us with little time to act on bringing in someone to take his place.

If we did keep him and won promotion we'd also be in a situation to demand a fair bit more than whatever we value him at right now also.

It's a tricky one for Power, can see no action until deadline day and then a host of bids for a number of our players with hours of the window left. A scenario we're all dreading.

I wouldn't say all of us

But seriously, from what I've seen you haven't missed him when he's been out, you'll keep going along fine even if you do lose him.

Meant Town fans!

We've done well and Swift could be used in his role but Mass is different class.

His link up with Byrne is also sensational and its arguable that Byrne has been slightly quieter without Mass in the team.

As for us, if we were going up against Premier League defences then yes we'd need to add a pacey striker, but I think we've got enough for League 1.

Good window really, added depth in key positions with Saville and Tavernier, maybe when Smith goes back to Fulham we may need to loan in another but other than that I think we're good.

If Byrne is ineffective once luongo leaves, we don't mind taking him off your hands
