If we accept less for Morley than we pay out for Randall i would hope the board veto it

Garang Kuol, the ‘lad from Newcastle’ I mentioned a while back.

We need pace so makes sense, just gotta find out if he’s any good.

First name mentioned to me is Chelseas young winger Harvey Vale who was at Bristol Rovers last season, apparently we're looking at signing him.

Our manager, Elliot, has said there is interest in Jay Williams and as he is in the last 6 months of his contract we'd be silly not to sell. He didn't mention who it was though.

He is a bit of a thug but he can play. We have been told he has tendinitis in his knee, we have also been told he smashed up the changing rooms at Northampton. We have a habit of wrapping players in cotton wall before we sell them (Tom Nicholls to Gillingham) so both thoserumours could be crap.

Darcy rumours seem less true. In the same interview Elliot said he has a strange groin injury. Not painful but there are lumps and it is restricting his movements. Not sure I would authorise a transfer fee in those circumstances.

Rob Street has gone to Doncaster on loan for the second half of the season. Managed about 50 minutes here since signing from Cheltenham in the summer.

Worryingly, we don't seem in any great rush or sense of positivity ahead of the January transfer window. With Street out on loan and House injured we're down to three strikers - a loan forward and two young lads. We can easily do without three of four of the current squad, so hopefully we can bring three or four in as well.

Being linked to Joseph Low at Wycombe. Swansea too I think. £750k sounds very cheap.

Charles Sagoe Jnr loan ended and returned to Arsenal. Looked your stereotypical Premier u23 player, good on the ball but not up to the hustle and bustle of league 1 at present.

Sign him, will finally stop the twat from scoring against us

Apparently he speaks very highly of you too.

Anyway. Low is clearly on the way out at this stage, with several clubs out for him.

We’ve also just signed Sonny Bradley on loan from Derby at CB so it’s clear we’re worried about not having cover in that dept.

Rated Sonny Bradley when he was with us in league 2. Not as high as being a starter in a top championship side (with Luton).

Left footed stopper. I've heard tale he has Improved this part of his game but he used to get done badly as a left back or left of a 3 by turning like a battleship.

We've had some good defenders over there. Don't think we got much for any of them.

Thanks for that. I must have seen him play at some point, but I have a crap memory for opposition players unless they pull off either something spectacular (vanishingly rare) or a particularly pantomime-villain-worthy act (getting rarer, not many good WUMs in the game these days).

Anyway, Bradley won’t ever be playing LB or left of a 3 with us thankfully.

I feel like he’s been signed more as cover (hence the short term loan) than necessarily a first choice.

Derby fans seem happy to get rid but of course “good enough for L1” is reasonably different from “good enough for the Championship”.

Bradley was done at Championship level when he left us. Was surprised that Derby kept him around in the summer for that reason. He actually played against us a couple of weeks ago. He isnt a particularly mobile player so you definitely need him surrounded with the right players so he isnt exposed, but hes still got a decent brain for reading the game.

Hes also much better on the ball than given credit for, plays some lovely passes through the lines when given the opportunity to do so. Will always have a soft spot for players who were a part of those teams so really hope he plays and helps you up this season.
