Our regular ITK has suggested 3 signings expected, with a forward and a defender ready to sign, and another defender 'in talks'

Also mentioned they'll be on the flight down from Edinburgh at lunchtime.
Wonder if the second defender is Joe Anderson?

If the forward is the Halfax lad then I’m not sure we’ll be scoring too many more goals this season.

Don't think we'll be particularly active today, we've slowly done our business through the month and I can't see us selling anyone at this point unless it's an absolutely ridiculous offer and even then, from a numbers point of view I'm not sure we can really afford to let anyone go so late.

If there are any outs, it's much more likely to be someone like Jay Benn who's already out on loan.

Apparently we are about to gazump Notts County for this signing. Call made to Cardiff after Gatlin O'Donkor went off with a hamstring issue yesterday. Full of pace and trickery when we played Cardiff earlier in the season, things we dont currently have in the team.

News on our forum that current GK loanee (and POTS so far) Josh Griffiths is being recalled by WBA. Thats an absolute massive punch in the nuts as we'd be well in the relegation places without him.
One positive is we can recall Jed Ward who has been performing well for FGR and hopefully fuck up their hopes of getting back into the league.

Nothing wrong with recalling a loan player, but this fucking late WBA?

More outs than ins for us today. I think at least 3 will leave as we might still bring 1 in.

serial gazumpers. You did the same to us back in (erm...) 2005 with the mighty Chris Carruthers.

I think we are still owed a bit after lightning-gate and sending us down to non-league (albeit to dip our toes). Carruthers was actually replaced by your club legend Joe Jacobson, but did much more for us than JJ ever did, which was mainly finish off Kieran Dyers career

Glad Josh appears to have developed a bit more since being with us 4 years or so back. He was never a bad 'keeper here at all, he was in an unfortunate situation of being compared to those before him particularly Alex Palmer, who ironically is the reason you're losing him!

Assume it’s cause Palmer is off to Ipswich from WBA

It's because Ipswich are buying Alex Palmer for £5m

I think we’re expecting quite a busy one today.

At the very least two expected in and Stretton, Mingi and potentially even Rydel could all head out the door likely on loan.

Adam Reach (winger/fullback) signs as a free agent, most of his experience has come from Middlesbrough (with some lower league loans in between), Sheff Wed, and West Brom.

Looks OK on paper but has been without a club since July... :pond:

20 year old Brad Hills from Norwich one for us apparently. Probably a loan.

Caylan Vickers from Brighton, previously linked to Real Madrid apparently. ‘Highly rated’ alert :D

Genuinely though, Reading fans rate him, had to sell due to the money issues.

This now confirmed.

Won POTS for Accrington last season and been a target for a while.

Our back three are all in great form and we have Horsfall to return by the end of Feb so not sure how much playing time he’ll get but basically replaces Hughes who we let join Peterborough earlier in the month.

He has been immense for us. Similar affect James Trafford had for Bolton and he hasn't done too badly for himself. Just a shame rest of the team having been anywhere near good enough to capitalise on it.

110 saves miles more than any other keeper in L1, due of course to a dodgy defence in front of him. Still have to be saved though!

We're struggling to shift anyone. Try as we might, nobody ever wants to leave us. It's that good here.

Decent wages, extra exposure. Half of the lads have businesses or podcast etc since coming here. Rob and Ryan actively encouraged it.
Reckon Palmers clothing brand will be one reason.he won't want to leave

Palmer won’t leave because his pay cut would be 95%. Wrexham will have to pay that.

Well the thing is, in that position we've got:

Ravizolli (who played on Saturday)
Shamal George (who signed from Livingston in the summer and has barely had a chance)
Nathan Bishop (signed on loan last year from Sunderland who has also barely featured)

so that's three proper senior keepers, I can only hope we're at least ending the Bishop loan if we're bringing another one in.

Seems like overkill to me.
We've just announced Nathan Bishop so now it makes sense for you.

What's he like Mansfield fans?

It seems really quiet across the board…Was expecting more action by now and I’m getting more concerned by the hour!
