Real shame we don't do something to help increase our away capacity given some of the sides we've had this season - even more so if we were lucky enough to be promoted.

Regarding away followings, we've still got Notts Co away (4,000 or so) Chesterfield away (2,300) Luton (somewhere near 1,000) which should help increase our away average

Oh right, I live in lincoln so will be travelling on the Anchor coach for this. You reckon you will bring 6k? Should be amazing atmosphere. I will enjoy but then sit in the home end and hopefully enjoy that!!
Depends on any comeback from things that happened on Saturday.
Hoping to go take my daughter and maybe meet up with my brother who lives Worcester way on.

Getting very tight at the top of the away following table

1116 Luton Town
1110
Lincoln City
1109
Coventry City

We've got quite a few North West trips to go, which will cut us back a touch.

That said, we should sell out Chesterfield, Cambridge and Mansfield, and take over 2000 to Coventry (apparently we are expected to be allowed up to 6000, but doubt we will sell out). Crawley will bring out the London Imps so should push 1000. Vale should be pushing 1000 as well but doubt we will get that high for Accrington, Morecambe or Carlisle unless we are challenging for automatic.

Cambridge will be a struggle on for a sell-out (1,700) on a Friday night?

Why is it a Friday night, btw? I'm assuming it's because of the (very) little bit of trouble outside their social club in their promotion season and not that they can't play at home when another club is?

I doubt very much we will give you 2300

1800ish with bottom two rows cordoned off

This Lincoln thing is quite bizarre

First visit to Chesterfield a few years ago it was about 600

Momentum.
Our home average crowd is its highest since the 1959/60 season.
The only season we had crowds anything like near this was 1975/76 whenwe averaged 8400.
The club has got more families going that seems to have been the key and lots of people have returned.
Lincoln has grown a lot too , people moving here must have jumped on the bandwagon too.
The family who sit next to us the dad is from Birmingham but his son was born here so they now follow us.

Been there twice on a Friday before, defo police moving it.
Likewise.

In the same way our games with Barnet usually provide good games, the ones with Cambridge provide shit ones. 0-0's galore and absolutely bore fests.

Yeah I wouldn't expect a good following this time either to be honest, the next three away games after you are Stevenage, Coventry then Cambridge, so if people are going to miss any of those it'll be you.

I'm not going for one... swore never to return after seeing us lose 7-1 there in the mid-1990s, think it was about 6-0 at half time yet my dad insisted on staying until the bitter end while just about every other Luton fan there left before the second half kicked off. My first ever Luton game was at Blundell Park coincidentally (we lost that one too, 2-0 I believe).
4-1 at half time 7-1 at full time, quite a few of us had season tickets back then and because this was the cup none of my mates could be arsed to go to this so I ended up going on my own, good call by me I reckon. :bg:

Ah

Can't you give us some down the side?

We could but due to segregation it takes another 500 or more off the capacity

We gave Wednesday that extra a few years ago and a sell out only allowed a shade over 9000, it reduced home capacity to around 6800

If the club feel there’s no chance of a home sell out and the security risk isn’t too great they can allocate this but it’s more trouble than it’s worth in this case

It could be a big game for us if we’re not safe

Hadn't clocked the Friday night fixture. That's annoying. Also realised I can't make it myself either.

Last week was one of the worst games I've seen in an age, and I went to a lot of National League games against shit like Boring Wood and Woking. Maybe Cambridge will be entertaining?!

Guessing that you have all the records, so do you have confirmed figures for any of the following please?
Morecambe v Coventry
Morecambe v Stevenage
Morecambe v Wycombe
Stevenage v Wycombe
Swindon v Wycombe
(I think that Morecambe publish in their programme, but I haven't seen a recent one)

Also I still only have estimates for these, so if you have confirmed figures that'd be great as well.
Grimsby v Lincoln
Morecambe v Cheltenham
Stevenage v Morecambe
Swindon v Exeter
Swindon v FGR
Swindon v Notts Cty
Swindon v Stevenage

Thanks.

Cheers, that's what I had, but for some reason thought that it hadn't been confirmed.

Comments on Couny’s fan message board says lowest home crowd since Big Al took over.

Locals say figure is correct, three games in a week, cup match on Saturday, losing last Saturday. Plenty giving game a miss, poor weather, poor away following. All adds up.

Also Lincoln were at home - anyone living east of NG4 gets a free tractor and trailer ride to Sincil Bank...
