I like KR as well, although it's up there with Leeds for being the Stadium with the least amount of leg room going. Only just enough room to stand up never mind sit down.

I think Northampton have that well and truly in the bag, Luke.

Surprised they have just given us another 2000 rather than 2300 which would fill the full allocation.
Hey up fella.....explain to the bloke of your forum how the figures are obtained....he's convinced I am wrong.

I like the old style grounds bit of nostalgia but no good for teams who take large support
We've only got a finite amount of capacity and like it or not, home fans need to be put first. We're at 85-90% capacity every week. And only 1-2 teams have managed to sell out the 1000 allocation anyway.

When (if) we get our new stadium, this will no longer be an issue.

Chesterfield is a ticket only match for away fans, who will be housed in the standing only West Stand which is uncovered, with 524 tickets sent to be sold on to Chesterfield fans.

Are Forest Green trying it on here offering half the capacity of the away terrace and no seats?

We've sold out our allocation of 400 at Lincoln. That must be less than 5% of the total capacity. And people say we are bad!

No they haven't. They have given us 400 and that's it

Oh.

That's not ideal.

That said, it would be a disaster for the away club getting you in the playoffs. Whereas I totally appreciate you're doing your ground up, if we met you and you only gave us 300 I'd want us to the same. It's a one off deal, but hey.

They'd not do it for a PO game I wouldn't have thought and certainly not a local PO game.

We seem to have had dispensation to get around the 10% rule this season for quite a few games. This is the first time we've done it this season where the away team could've sold more tickets. None of the others sold their allocation I don't think.

350 :-)

Whatever, it'll be on Sky anyway. If West Brom can cope I'm sure you can

Sorry Luke, I meant that in reference to Exeter than you.

Imagine Notts offering Exeter 4000 tickets and getting 350 in return? Lol

Tbf all local teams and well supported teams like Coventry and Luton were given 1500ish tickets.
I think Exeter may have caught us out by selling the 400 tickets.
Trouble is the club currently have a bit of dilemma as to who to piss off 200-300 away fans or 1000 or so home fans?
We expected around 9500 home fans on Friday whereas if we'd put Exeter in part of the Stacey West it would be 8300-8400.

I know it's rubbish but that's just the way it's got to be for this season.

Think any club trying to offer us a similarly low amount would be beyond petty. Not that it would be allowed to happen.

Technically a club could do anything within reason

34.2.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club’s certified capacity, if less than 2,000. The League may, on the prior written application of a Club, suspend this Regulation or reduce the figure either for a particular League Match or for a period of time. Each Club shall, subject to any dispensations granted by the Board, make provision for at least 200 of the visiting supporters to be accommodated under cover. Any Club which fails to meet the requirement of 200 visiting supporters being accommodated under cover and which does not have a dispensation granted by the Board shall have such amounts as the Board shall determine (in its absolute discretion) withheld from that Club’s central distributions from the Pool Account until such time as the Club can meet the requirement.

So if a club asked to only give say 10% we could give you 750 or so. Or less on request.

Of course. As you mention I guess it would be pedantic at best. Got to bloody qualify first!

I guess they didn't expect you to sell them all, given the distance that's a cracking effort to be fair.

Exactly that, I doubt Exeter have taken 400 this far north so far this season.
Your board/ admin people must have agreed to this allocation and been happy with it?
Sorry about that but demand for home tickets is through the roof we could have had 12000 home fans in the ground if have the capacity to do so. Quite a few home fans will be missing out again.

We took 1100 to Coventry. Are you saying we were given a choice?

It is a good hour and a half further to Lincoln from Coventry though mate

Distance is no object for us. We once took over 2000 to Rotherham. Easter, doing well, new ground for many. Was always going to be more than 600. I do think Lincoln need to get their act together on this

Yeah, I think that's fair. Imagine there was a discussion and agreement between the clubs so some of our fans anger is misplaced. Should be a cracking atmosphere, wish I could make it.

On the other hand though, Exeter fans, do you sell out your home ends each and every game? Is there nothing else you can do to raise the 350?

If there genuinely isn't then fair enough, just an odd curiousity
