Don't knock it, Stevenage took 78 there once. Braintree are therefore almost twice as big on the road as Stevenage.

Edit: actually it was 86. Therefore nowhere near twice as big but still much bigger than Stevenage.

Biggest official following maybe, most of their local games aren't segregated though so I'd suspect they've taken more than that at some point in recent years.

They only took 68 to the Hive last season, also on a Tursday evening so 147 is an impressive following for them.

I know there were transport problems, but I thought that was pretty poor by us really. Although we've been to Dagenham loads of times ( including last week) and it's not the most exciting away day.

There was some suggestion on our forum that there may have been more as Orient ran out of tickets and there were people still trying to get in the ground well after kick-off. We had a similar situation at Notts County after York had told them to expect about 300 City fans and about 750 of us rocked up. We made a pretty good racket but unfortunately our knobhead element was out in force and there was some fighting in the first half, and then loads of them left after Orient's third went in. Good riddance.

The same happened to us at Brisbane Road on the opening day.
On a side note, any idea why far fewer York fans decided to visit the Hive when we played you a few weeks ago compared to the number who went to Brisbane Road?
