Lucky bastard, my first Town game was when I was 10 or 11 so if I’d moved from the area at 9 years old I might well have grown up not supporting this shower of shit.
I blame my old man for first taking me, just like i blame myself for the years of utter misery my lad has had watching Town and still has a lifetime more to look forward to.
My two children hate me too, both life long TOWN supporters. At least my daughter lives in Southern California now, my son not so lucky.

Correct FRED:

Carlisle have sold 1,137 tickets for our clash at VP in a couple of weeks.

Just another 1,600 to go.

Went on general sale today, and around the 1600 mark a few hours ago. Slowed dramatically at the weekend, I can’t possibly imagine why…

Surprised you’ve shifted another 600 or so within the last 10 hours.

I know it’s a big awayday for your average Cumbrian, but jheeeez.

Suspect most will have gone to exiles - they don’t tend to have season tickets, so most will have had to wait for general sale.

450-500 sold today by my reckoning.

I think the higher away crowds are due to so many leaving the Town , I left when i was about 20 , a lot of mates did aswell for various reasons . It's not that bad a place though really just the bits around the ground is the worse bit so away fans see the arse end of the town . You never know things might get a bit better for your lad - more hope than expectation though lol

We have been given 999 tickets for Chesterfield. NO where near enough normally, but with it being on TV it will be about the number we will sell. Bloody Sky and dodgy sticks are to blame.

We'd still have taken at least 2000 regardless of Sky in my opinion. Those 999 will all go to ST holders and should go today. Nowhere near enough but this is what we do to other clubs now so we can't really complain.

Yeah anyone coming to Blundell Park just presumes that the whole of Grimsby is like that, especially as there are a few YouTube vids at the minute where people go to rough places and there are a few of people walking down Freeman St and the East Marsh so I do get why people think the whole of Grimsby is a shit hole based on that but there are actually so many nice bits of the town that never get shown anywhere.
I think if anybody came here and did a full tour of the town they would be in for a massive shock.

Surprising - I thought the allocation would be nearer 800-850.

Won’t have to wait too long for the fairweathers to get bored. They’ll be back to the usual 2,300-2,400 allocation soon enough.

As has already been said plenty of times on here, due to home demand we’ve changed our away end from behind the goal in the north stand, to the end 2 blocks of our east stand so everyone will be getting a maximum allocation of that.

The two blocks in the east are about 850, we
Split block 3 between home and away if demand requires it, so that’s where the extra come from

Cheers mate, we need the money; it's a pity more clubs don't bring as many fans for a day at the seaside.

We know the feeling.

Our homes games (2) so far have attracted just over 400 away fans.

Should have given Bradford the full Osmond. Guaranteed money and fills up the other home ends. Still loads left in the Osmond for Saturday. Hopefully that fills up with walk ins.

Although we took our time selling the 1,200, I do believe we’d have shifted the remaining 600 or with relative ease.

A lot of our fans just don’t have a clue where they are in terms of Loyalty Points. With the small allocation, I think a lot just assumed they were all sold before reaching general sale. 2 days of general sale and they had sold.

Last time I went to Grimsby was in 2019 when you gave us the full allocation. Decent away day.
