Shite but understandable like our home crowd. I was thinking earlier we hardly ever used to have a full programme of Tuesday night league games in December. It was usually League and FA Cup replays and the odd rearranged game. So why do we have to now with no replays. But of course the better midweek slots in August and Sept are taken up by the feckin stupid trophy. So we have a full league programme tonight with fictional attendances and empty grounds just so premiership kids can play in nice weather.

Makes sense, sure we go to Colchester on a Tuesday in January for example.

Actually only 6 midweek league games this season but assume this round of fixtures was the Saturday moved up because of the cup weekend, but suppose with International Fixtures causing postponements too even at L2 level these days that limits weeks to schedule in as well.

Last two seasons we took ok numbers there on a Saturday, but otherwise in the past we'd have taken 200 down there for a week night match, especially with it being on telly and with so many games throughout December. Almost 500 isn't a bad effort.

Also took 3 and a half hours to get there due to traffic around Walsall.

I've seen an estimate on our page that there was about 130 there on Tuesday.

No official number, but would have been about 120 from a quick head count.

The Fleetwood match report says 400 or so Doncaster which looks like the only figure I can find.

Looked slightly less than what we took there a few weeks ago, think we had around 350. Unless you had loads in the seats.

Very Good from chesterfield, shouldn't that home attendance go in the tinpot thread
It is poor but what about most of the other attendances which were worse - see Walsall and several others…?

It should and as Scum points out they aren't alone.

Midweek home attendance horror show
I’m sure the bad weather will put a few off today too, certainly on the away side of things. We had our last away game at Fleetwood postponed after many had already travelled and now looks like we will have Barrow postponed too. Aside from Carlisle, our two furthest trips typically. Probably halve both our attendances there now they will (both probably) be on a Tuesday evening, not that it’s any great shakes (probably 150ish instead of 300ish).
