Seen Carlisle have sold nearly 800 for the game on new years day. Fantastic following considering there position in the league and the price of our tickets.

Should be over 800 on the day, as a few of us didn't buy in advance. Not helped by our glorious rail system either. Crewe away, and there are no trains running. You couldn't make it up.

581 MK Dons fans in a crowd of 9,119 at Chesterfield.

Not bad at all for a 4 hour round trip on a day of disruption. Surprisingly decent for us.

9,119 total crowd at Chesterfield today with 581 from MK.

We took virtually double that when we played them at theirs on a random Tuesday night in December.

Crowds will drop to 4500 as everybody has had enough.
Barring a couple of Tuesday's even during last seasons horrific second half of the season we didn't see drops close to that level, that said it is boring even though we are not really losing games at home.

Alot of the teams we are now due to play are barrow Salford Harrogate ect who don't travel well so that reduces the crowd alot for starters.

Oh how I wish I could view this.

I've always really liked my trips to Blundell Park. One per season max mind.

Average numbers but they backed the team pretty well I thought noise wise, though I was sat at that end of the ground

Proper attendance there - that's fewer than your STH number isn't it?
No I think we have 5.5k STH. Imagine a few of them didn't go and with a few walk ups it evened itself out. It's fair enough given our form and how expensive it's been over Xmas. We averaged around that number last time we were promoted. I think we'll hover around that figure for a few weeks, then depending on form it may dip lower, or bounce back up over 6k again. Shame considering we got over 10k only a few weeks ago.

I'm not as depressed as some, it's a bad patch, it happens. We have too many good players for it not to turn around soon.

It was a low one yesterday, a lot of regulars around me didn't attend for whatever reason and it was dead around the ground and in Tommies/fan zone etc.

Some good numbers from Carlisle of late. Easy to get big numbers when you're up in the promotion/playoff spots but when you're crap and not getting the breaks and down at the wrong end of L2 it takes a good set of supporters to keep on grinding out big followings. We've been down in the bottom 5 or 6 of the division but up in the top 5 or 6 of the away followings table more times than I care to remind myself and it certainly isn't easy mustering the energy, time and funds in such circumstances. Fair play to them.

I thought so too. We don't travel well in numbers but normally fairly decent noise wise.

Completely agree. At times I think our fans are good. We all see fans of each others clubs on twitter and the likes saying, best fans in the league etc...but look at some of the shite our fans are spouting on here. "Everyone has given up" etc. It's embarrassing. We're 5th, have good players coming back from injury, half a season left to play, and we're on more points and higher position after 24 games than the last time we got promoted from this division. The away numbers aren't bad, I was actually surprised we took so many Grimsby. But in similar circumstances to Carlisle, we'd be down to 200 odd, like we were back around 2017 and 2018, just about staying in the league.

Carlisle is fantastic numbers considering the horrific season last season as well as into this.

That said anyone who travels with so many games close together at a time when money is tight on top of cost of living deserves huge praise.
