Thought Chesterfield would have sold out their allocation for a relatively close fixture
We did sell it out, in fact it sold out on the day those tickets came out. I’ve no idea what the allocation was, that’s just the figure I’ve seen on Twitter.

After 20 odd years of stagnation the franchise finally take an average away following considering the relatively short distance & you can't move for the fuckers on here
Why you always mean to us, your Don cousins?

Not too Xabi Alonso for a team in 12th, bottom of the form table and going through its worst ever season.
Your worst ever season, why have you not mentioned this before?

That happens at Blundell Park a hell of a lot.
Away fans who live far from the sea get so excited by Cleethorpes sea front that they do the donkey rides and candy floss and forget about the football...

Actually, that's about the allocation now - 1,150 ish. Plenty of unsold seats in the home Osmond corner which I was a bit surprised to see. We'd sold more for Notts last week even though an early KO and on TV. Well down on the Vale home game.

I have. I also mentioned it last season because that was our worst ever season. Until this one (which is our worst ever season by the way).

Makes sense

Nobody should be surprised with that we are bigger club than Chesterfield so more enticing opposition for the locals.

That's fucking awful from Walsall. We beat that today with one of our poorest home crowds of the season.

They often compare themselves to us (for some unknown reason) but that is truly pitiful for a team so far clear at the top. I'm certain we'd be getting 10k + in a similar position.

Yeah our home crowds are poor, and it's frustrating because the team deserve better. We have a very loyal core, hence why our away crowds are a very healthy percentage of our home crowds - we just can't seem to attract much more than that who want to stick around. When we played Leicester this season in the FA Cup we found an extra 3000 from somewhere who just didn't decide to come back. When we went to Wembley in 2015 we brought 30,000.

It's the biggest challenge the club face at the moment with the on the pitch stuff going so well. It didn't help we have among the most expensive tickets in the EFL as well for what is a quite poor area of the country.

Team definitely deserves better. The run you're on is ridiculous, if that doesn't build excitement I'm not sure what will. Imagine when promotion or the league are achievable, a few more will appear. I thought you were getting a few 7ks earlier in the season, but was that down to away fans?

Again, why you always mean to us, your Don cousins?
You married into the Don family falsely & were disliked immediately, you were shunned from the (football) family straight away & the divorce has long since happened but here you are still holding on to the family name that you have never deserved

Maybe the others bought tickets but didn’t turn up for whatever reason

Thanks for the Steels recommendation whoever it was, belting chippy. Chose to eat in as I was freezing and stupidly didn’t bring a proper jacket

Understandable, those that have eaten cod all their lives sometimes find Steels’ haddock an overwhelming experience; in that moment football becomes an irrelevance…

Absolutely. Does it bother me as a Wimbledon supporter that they retain the Dons name !? Well quite honestly they will never be accepted by us or the wider football community as a legitimate football club. However they could probably do themselves a favour by dropping it . It really is quite laughable that they retain it.

Rude. Although the Doncaster side of the family were always a bit backward so probably for the best.

See a couple thousand of you Saturday for your annual boycott. You accepted us the moment 3,300 of you turned up for the first time in that FA Cup fixture after spending a decade telling everyone else not to show up. Hypocrites.

When are MK supporters going to stop boycotting every stadium including their own
