This could be quite a torrid league for a northern club next season, have to rely on afew bits of fortune on who goes up/down etc, etc

is possible we could only actually have as such 4 northern clubs in L2 next season....Carlisle, Morecambe, Accrington and York.

and then just Mansfield within distance.

and if it went that horrendous way you may have 12 clubs London or below.

Really need Notts/Crewe down, Grimsby/macclesfield up, Bury to stay down and Hartlepool to survive.

Didn't realise the prospect of having only 3 clubs within about 200 miles of us was so strong... yikes, we don't want that.

If we have Barnet and Bristol Rovers come up, and Yeovil, Colchester, Walsall and Orient come down... and then lose Burton, Shrewsbury and Bury to League One while losing Tranmere and Hartlepool to the Conference.

Ouch.

Could be ideal for us next season. Being fairly central means most journeys are not to taxing, most of the clubs in the mix to go up or down can be reached in 2 hours max which is pretty decent.

Id be happy if tranmere or hartlepool stayed up, nothing cheltenham but this league will be all soft and poncy with all these southern sides.

If notts county and Crewe come down and grimsby/Macclesfield come up through the playoffs that would be good.

To be honest that can actually work to our benefit if we do it right.........lots of teams slogging their way up here on a trip they'll hate.....good chance to have a superb home form next season
