Don’t think Bristol Rovers fans were impressed

Hearing were supposed to be signing Tom Pett at some point this week. Looks a decent signing on paper, always done well in this league and played a bit in the league above.

Be a good pickup that if you got him. Was a decent performer in L1 last season and surprised he hasn’t gone anywhere yet. Good solid midfielder with a decent passing range and wins more than his fair share of tackles.

He’s stats were decent and as you say I was slightly surprised we released him. Stunned it’s took this long to get him a club.

Another three year contract to a player who's suffered with injuries over the last year. Playing in the Welsh leagues, turned down by Blyth Spartans. Let's loan him to Swindon to get him going eh.

We’ve signed Jamie Andrews on loan from West Brom.

Nah, I’ve no idea either

Stockport County.
We’ve signed Joel Cotterill on loan from Swansea.

Similar vibes to Grimsby's unknown.

Rovers sign ex-Blackburn full-back on a one month deal. Was on trial pre-season but got injured and we’re thin at the back. However one month suggests either someone else coming in on loan shortly from a higher league or we’re skint.

Tall and robust are the adjectives I've heard about him but I've only seen him for a few minutes and I wasn't paying much attention.

He had some issues with finishing but that does mean he was getting into the positions...!

Casey
He scored for Worthing.

Get him back!

Signed ex Newcastle United winger, Adam Wilson. 3-year deal, undisclosed fee.

Been playing for Welsh Champions, The New Saints. 22 app - 7 goals - 4 assists

Never heard of him, but he seems to know where the goal is at the levels he’s played at thus far.

We had him on trial a year ago. Think he scored in one of our games but he didn't exactly stand out if I'm honest. We decided against signing him and signed Lachlan Brook instead who was decent for us.

He seems to have made an impression with TNS fans, but I couldn’t tell you how good the standard is in the Welsh League. I’m guessing not great.

I don’t mind signings like these - it can only ever go one way or the other, and I’d much prefer us to chuck money at potential as opposed to big names.

Majority of Welsh prem is part time,TNS full time. Connahs Quay used to be but unsure now.

I'd probably say National North level l, TNS probably lower mid table national league. Some probably say it's better then that but people have rose tinted glasses on.

Rumours are that Hanlan is pretty much a done deal. Apparently we are looking at Ben Garratt as well- GK last at Burton, ex-Crewe.

Yeah, I can’t quite see why, of all the forwards you would throw money at, that Hanlan would be near the top of the list.

He’s not terrible, and in fairness we are bad at playing to his strengths, but I just think you could do better for the same money, especially since Wrexham will have the pull of the hype train right now, and players will want to sign for them.

As long as we can get a replacement in time, I certainly wouldn’t miss him that much.

But to be fair we owe Wrexham a non-scoring striker for signing Craig Faulconbridge off them many years ago. What was that, 8 goals in three seasons? *shudders*

Just seen our manager’s post game interview after Sutton dumped us out of the cup - when asked why Hanlan wasn’t in the squad, gave a very grumpy “no comment”, so make of that what you will…
