Deeney said last week signings were urgent and last weekend would have been a failure if we didn't have 3 or 4 signings in by Tuesday. Which didn't happen.

He has now said we have a couple through the door along with a couple of triallists from other clubs that we're looking to bring in asap. So expecting a couple to be announced before Saturday. All a bit desperate but there you go.

We have Charlie Lakin on loan from Burton. It seems he has been with Wimbledon and Donny recently. Any views about him will be appreciated
He didn't get too many games with us as Little and Reeves have the two CM spots nailed down and they have been fit for most of the season. I think he mostly played the pizza cup games and a couple of others here and there, but he looked very tidy and mobile. I liked him, and would not have minded if he stayed the rest of the season as very capable cover. Will be interesting to see how he does if he gets a decent run of games.

He was ok but got injured before we could make a full opinion, appears to be made of glass

Mate we're 14th in League Two and regularly get embarrassed by the likes of Crawley and Barrow (no offence) on our home patch.

Why wouldn't our fans be miserable?

‘Cos I remember far worse times.

We’re three points of the play-offs, mate.

Flynn has said 2/3 this week since the summer. Should have learned to keep his mouth shut. Welsh prick.

Ah well, we're the 11th worst side in the country but it's ok because we nearly went bust 20 years ago. Jesus wept.

And we're not 3 points off the playoffs. We're 5 points off and have played a game more.

Out of curiousity, is that not just normal now? Like where would most Bradford fans place their club in the pyramid

You've spent a lot of the 21st season in L2, is this not just Bradfords level?

Rookie error. Surprised at Flynn, should know better then to promise new signings before they're through the door by this point of his career surely?

James Belshaw signs for Harrogate. Oh well never mind we didn't need him anyway....fuck sake.

Seriously though, quality signing for them. Best keeper we've had in ages.

Extended Aden Flint contact untill 2025, I’m pretty sure we signed him on a initial one year with a option for a second so we’ve either activated that clause or because it’s become so obvious he’s the best defender in the league by a margin he’s got better terms.

Thank christ.

I liked Waters at Halifax but for whatever reason it just hasn't worked out for him. Hopefully he can do well at Doncaster and get a permanent move somewhere in the summer.

Not related to him, but saw you released Dominic Gape too.

Great player when fit, but the problem is, “when fit” just isn’t that often.

I feel like he’ll struggle to get another league club (purely on the basis of his injury record), unless it’s on a pay-as-you-play deal or something - which would be hugely risky for him.

Usually you’d always be weary of saying there aren’t better players out there, surely there has to be, in this instance not likely.

If anyone in this league has anyone close to flint they’re lucky.

I was actually alluding to the 2009-2011 days when we couldn’t afford a toaster for the training ground.

If we were floating around the relegation zone, I could see your point. But fuck all is won or lost with half a season remaining.

Very pleased to see him back, then we should never have let him go. He provides confidence to the back line. Definitely a favourite of the Town faithful.

Yeah, agree with this. Just couldn't force his way in the side despite looking decent when he had the chance. Quite creative at times. Could have been called back to make sure he gets games rather than us releasing him because I was very happy with him as cover from the little we saw.

Im disappointed he has gone. He looked good on his few appearances in the side. We can’t afford to have another player who is injury prone so he had to go.

We’ve spent 11 years out of the last 42 at this level so no I wouldn’t say so. If an owner took over you 5th in League 1 and 7 years later guided you to 14th in league 2 with terrible football 6 out of 7 years would you have no complaints?

Bradford fans is there any possible truth that we're taking Bobby Pointon on loan ?

I remember when Bradford used to play us in pre season to help us out financially and now we're above them in the league so I would be really disappointed if I supported them. Am sure they will get it right sooner or later

Being linked with Charlie Savage, Reading won't play him because he will trigger something in his contract with 1 more start but can't afford it.
Spotted in Wrexham so people putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 I think.
Half of his family live in Wrexham anyway so no shock to see him here

If Pointon leaves to you or anyone else this window, there will be civil war at this football club.

Rumour Olowu is off to Wigan, we still need to offload a few more as McCann wants one or two more in but can’t with the amount of players we have, problem is who the chuff would want them?
