Aber gas the only rumours I saw came from you saying you were signing Cox, Simpson, Madden, Roofe... I would ask you to refrain from further slanderous comments or else I will be forced to come to the Wetherspoons you work in and SAY IT TO YOUR FACE.

On a side note Casey - I don't think you realise just how good a player you've got.

I do not nor have I ever worked in a 'spoons. Any more of these hurtful and vicious slights and I will be forced to take DRASTIC MEASURES.

Good day.

LOTAL: I know how good Cox is. I've seen him play a few times.

I am as happy as a happy thing in a happy show that he has signed for Crawley but I am waiting for the man/woman who dashes my hopes to come along and point out that he has had an operation on his feet and they now face the other direction...or some sort of thing.

I just don't remember a player of the calibre of Cox signing for Crawley unless they were on the way up (John Mackie) or the way down (David Speedie). The spear of karma is not that nice to Crawley Town...normally.

Oh please shut up playing the poor little Crawley card. You bought your way into the League and up to L1 on the back of ridiculous investment for a tiny Isthmianesque sized club, continually buying bigger and better than everyone else around you and outspending clubs many many times bigger. Yes that didn't guarantee the success you earned but it soon fucked off when the money did......... Spear if Karma ffs

Pure luck. Right place. Right time. Player who is quality just not looking to rock the boat of his comfortable life. Amazed he doesn't have the will to drive a couple hours extra each day for any one of another half dozen clubs with an atmosphere and fan base that can appreciate his skill. So yes a big surprise but the "woe is us, poor little fucked over Crawley" card stuck in the throat

I take issue with this train of thought. There is no doubt that he has made this decision as he enjoys his life as it is. What's wrong with that? If I was comfortable and happy in one part of the country then it'd take an extraordinary amount of money to make me move somewhere less desirable.

Express and Echo have now said Reuben Reid has passed a medical and is set to be announced tomorrow. 1 year deal.

Great news if true as we lack a proper striker.

Who've we got Saturday.....? Oh yeah!

I remember when Crawley signed James Dance - they did it just to stop us signing him.

Quality signing that is for Crawley. Probably the best player in this league when he's at his best.

He's signed! Reuben Reid to Exeter.

Turns down a new contract at Plymouth, signs for the City. Standard:ds:

Chuffed to bits with the Reid signing....

Yes he's not the most athletic, but he's strong, powerful, direct and most importantly scores goals at this level.

Would love him to get the winner on Saturday but at this point I'd happily see us win with an own goal off McCormick's face

He hasn't played a competitive match since May 30th with no Pre Season. However I expect him to come on as an Impact sub with 15 mins left on the clock

Worth a punt to be fair, there probably is still a player in there somewhere on his day if he can stay fit, I haven't really got any ill feelings towards him he deserves a club where hopefully he can get some games. Won't be impressed if he goes and does the dirty on us on Saturday mind

Dean Cox signs 2 1/2 year deal at Crawley, with option for another year.
Dean is a level headed lad who has thought about his long term future, as well as his immediate future.
Many other pro's could take a leaf from his book.
Already comfortable thanks to his LO contract, Dean will be a part of next seasons championship favourites.
DD will be working alongside Dean, before DD goes on to manage in the Prem and Dean continues his work at CTFC both on the pitch, and in the dugout.

Exeter fans seem to think they're signing Reid too :pmsl::pmsl::pmsl: Worried it may reveal Agent Tisdale's real identity as he splashes all their little cash on an injury prone player already having a small injury hit squad!

Personally wouldn't want him back and Adams made that clear when the contract he offered was lower than the wage he was on previously. He is crocked and will get you most 25 games a season, 15 of which he will take to get up and running. Rumours are after failing medicals he came to see if our contract offer was still on the table and he got refused..
