Now official Molyneux leaving, which everyone expected anyway. No news on Timi yet, not sure what that means, guessing the fact he’s under 23 the club will be wanting compensation?

Or the unlikely event that he may be signing back on but I doubt it.

Sam Foley is dangerously close to being a poor signing according the the Official Barrow AFC legs-have-gone-ometer.

Rumours that we've got a 6pm announcement lined up so could be Odusina. Although we've said this for the past three weeks and nothing has happened!

Those Cityvent guys this time with the rumour of the announcement. They're probably talking shite...just like they do on their podcast.

Don’t think anyone would be surprised if he did leave to be honest, and sounds like you lot have been mentioned a fair bit.

I was more just commenting on the fact the club have announced Molyneux is leaving and nothing heard about Timi yet.

McWilliams has signed a new two year contract, which is good news as he was our best midfielder last year. Might be under pressure by Fox though for his place, so interesting to see how it lies.

Roberts has signed for Middlesborough. Sad loss for us, but was inevitable and have been long planning for this leaving, much like Horsfall who has yet to be picked up anywhere but is 100% to go. We've also released Kabamba on a free.

All in all, even with 3 signings done, we're still left with 13 signed up pros at the moment, so still a fair bit to be done.

I don't mind the main guy but the co-host is useless. Literally doesn't have a clue about anything

Looks like Zanzala is having a medical with us today, don't know what to think about that!! there is a good player in there somewhere but to have your contract cancelled by both crewe and barrow and exeter not taking up the option shows there is a major attitude problem and i don;t think we want that sort of problem at our club.
Well Zanzala has signed! but the club havn't said how long the contract is, not overly excited but time will tell.

don't want to be a pedant, but we *do* have 18 pros including first years. I really hope Abimbola and especially Dyche as he is a year older to kick on and get more game time.

But yeah, McWilliams is massive news for us.

Molyneux signed for Doncaster, thought he would have stepped up a league to be honest, but it makes sense, the club will be looking to bounce straight back up, will definitely be on more money too.

Another tick in the 'do we have little ambition and a shite budget? box then.

Can't wait to see an ex Peterhead & Stenhousemuir winger rock up as replacement

Great signing for Donny that, certainly in a better position to offer more money than us, sad to see him go but theme the breaks.

Fleetwood have just signed Brendan Wiredu from Colchester. Paid some decent money and he looks like he can be an excellent signing. Any Colchester fans out there ? What's your take on the guy

He's ok, but he's still more potential than delivering currently though. He has a good social media presence and says the right things which makes him a bit of a fans' favourite for many, but on the pitch he's very inconsistent. He will battle and get stuck in, but I thought his discipline tracking runners was poor, he doesn't contribute anything in front of goal and he's never stood out as being especially good on the ball.

I would think a six-figure fee (with all the assumed sell-ons etc) for a player who wasn't a permanent fixture in the team and only had a year left on his contract is a good deal for us, particularly as we're well stocked in the middle. Again, there's clearly some potential there but I'd be quite surprised if he ended up going further than a middling League One player to be honest.

Ashley Nadersan signs a new two year contract with Crawley.

His goal ratio for a forward is terrible (24 in 118) but any half decent ball over the top and the oppo defence is having kittens, he keeps the oppo defence honest (no pushing up to the half way line with him around) and he creates so many openings for othe forwards and midfielders.

If someone could teach him to finish we wouldn't have a hope in hell of keeping him.

Well happy with this signing and we now can finally see the direction GMac wants to take us in, need a Left back and another striker on a permanent deal then about 3 loans. If we can shift Dodoo and Hiwula then a couple more maybe.

So that's one relegation spot sewn up...

He'll probably start well and you'll be loving him, but hard to see him ever being a consistent goalscorer.

Anthony Georgiou apparently signed a 1 year deal with us. Mainly a left back/left winger and has 8 caps for Cyprus.

Not a signing I envisaged us making, but Wellens has clearly decided he wants a natural left sided player to compete with Connor Wood. The covering youngster we had in that position Jayden Sweeney hasn't been good enough and will likely be moved on (Had he not had another year on his contract he would've been released). Shadrach Ogie can play there as well, but looks like Wellens wants to keep him at centre half.
